Great reaction! That slowly decreasing base riff at the end perfectly simulates the slowing heartbeats of a dying man. This song is so well written, in all aspects
@@RQG-REACTS their firts and second album(Outsideinside,1968) are heavy almost all way through. They got softer after that, when a lot of other bands developed a heavier sound. So they where definitely fore runners. The first two albums are highly recommended
Crazy what was happening in England in 1969 & 1970. First Led Zeppelin then Black Sabbath. Two of the greatest drummer’s rhythm sections, lead singers, guitarists and bassists. 1969-1971 they churned out 7 crazy good albums. They were the foundation of hard rock and heavy metal.
If you get a chance you should listen to this with the follow up song "Rat Salad", it's an instrumental and drum solo and to me it sounds like the guy actually dying and death rattles. Another song you'll really like is "The Wizard"
Sabbath the Kings of time changes!!!! Everybody put them down as evil but if you ever really listen they're warning you of these evil things!! This was High School days for me, Great Band!!!
If you want to see a couple of amazing guitar solo's , amazing drums and bass check out Ozzy Osbourne's Mr. Crowley Live with Randy Rhoads. Might want to google Aleister Crowley because the song is about him. You won't be disappointed. Randy Rhoads was the best guitarist EVER in my view but he only played on two albums. He died at the age of 25 while on tour with Ozzy in a tragic plane crash .You should read about that too. Would love to see your reaction.

Black Sabbath was like the first metal band to hit it big.

You are the first to do my favorite song by my favorite band that I have seen. Watching closely.
Megalomania or The Writ from Sabatage are 2 great Sabbath songs to do!!!
thanks for the suggestions
This song is amazing. This whole album is amazing! I love the drums on this track, especially how he mixes up the pattern on each line.
Bill Ward, drummer.
Black Sabbath 1968-eternity🤘
Fairies Wear Boots and/or Children of the Grave are 2 tunes I think you'd appreciate
Great song. Great anti-drug message. Hereon/Fentanyl is no joke.
Bit o' finger/sleeping village/warning.

The live late-nite gig he and Rhoads did here in my hometown of Rochester is on YT, insane.
It looks like it came from the 1920s
