The only 1pan I got in a day of mock, feels like a lot of rng to get it with UE40 DHina. The last lantern proccing at 1:30 on the timer was kind of crazy and I haven't been able to replicate it.
edit: Got this in a real run without even getting the fast fifth lantern, so maybe all it needs is second curse to hit Kokona and good crit.

Can you replace Azusa with D.Ako while having Ako/S.Shiroko as a special support? I'm having a hard time with survival because my Azusa's just a 5 star...
@@sagiridesu7230 You probably could, just skip casting D.Ako skill since it won't stack with normal Ako.
@@senovit When I upgraded D.Ako and saw Ako in the special support slot...I had a "it was this moment that he knew..he-" anyways I've been malding for hours and there's always 10m hp left. When I finally got hopeful for once, the second team always gets wiped out even though I hit the red lantern, why is that?
@@sagiridesu7230 Hitting the purple lantern will make your team higher attack but will make them take more damage too. If your second team is frail it might be better not to break it.
@@senovit Aight, I've been practicing for 8 hours for my first Torment raid. I went with the Azusa, D.Hina, S.Hoshino, Kokona, Ako and S.Shiroko comp.
I finally managed to get the boss down up to 1 million hp with two teams but couldn't clear it with the third because I lack the damage dealer and healer to clear it with.
After many hours of retries, I finally found a barrier I need to overcome that will help me clear it with one team or two team depending on the rest of the outcome.
It's about the lantern, there's literally one 1 pixel left for it to be full with both Kokona and Ako's basic skill but because I lack materials to upgrade their level 7 basic and passive skill, I had to take the hard way.
As for the Groggy part, I just can't seem to get it full no matter how many times I try even with a borrowed UE50 D.Hina so I just brute force it and causes my team to take more damage in return.
I also cannot use my D.Hina for both of her bonus stats are at level 7 thus I cannot go with the Nagisa/D.Ako method because I obviously have to borrow Nagisa.
@@senovit Alright, after 11 hours. I finally managed to clear it. My first Torment raid. I had to burn a lot of my resources to clear it, specially Eligmas to solve the healing problem with Akokona. Well, tomorrow's gonna be fun.
Does the special students stats matter really hard? I got the exact same team on my Striker side. barely at 1 min I only did like half the dmg you made at 1min. Idk if its just my unlucky crits or the stats of nagisa and fuuka matters. both are 4 stars.
They matter a bit but not enough to be double damage. It's probably crits, or didn't burst within all the buff+debuff windows, or forgot to pop purple lantern.
The defense stats matter much more than the attack stats for special students. They can be the difference between units getting killed quickly or not. When you use ako you sacrifice higher defense stats for instance

Nah, global server is pretty slacking, you will still get 2000 platinum rank if you can squeeze your time on insane diff (even sometimes hardcore)
Im surprised your Azusa survives without any intervention. Im using ue50 azusa, yet my Azusa is pretty much guaranteed to die unless i heal her on the second curse (curse on kokona or azusa). Then, the third curse I would need to heal shoshi (curse on kokona or shoshi). Im also curious why your kokona triggers the first cost reduction so early, at around ex bar 4, whilst mine always takes to 7-8, which forces me to use a different rotation.
I'm not sure about the Azusa, someone else asked why the purple lantern wasn't broken with the first Nagisa ex, maybe that would help with Azusa survivability. As to the Kokona, since she works off number of crits you could try to place Nagisa each time so that she's also hitting the benches. They don't display a damage number but they can be crit and contribute to building Kokona proc faster. I didn't do it in this video but it's something you can consider if you need her proc earlier. It could also be that she's doing her basic proc earlier in my run for the last cast, if this is happening then you'll want to look at the timing of her ex just before.

I don't remember, and can't tell from watching the video. It's worth trying.
Purple lantern gives u dmg buff but reducing whole team incoming heal by 80%

@ninegigs you break if for more damage but early fight damage doesn't matter, and you would lose out the healing from nagisa skill if you break it on first rotation as opposed to second rotation
is Azusa can be replaced with Aru?
@@joseeri17 No, she is used more for the defence down. You can replace her with D.Ako, S.Hanako can work too.

@@PriscentSnow I'm not really sure what you're asking. The units are different so the rotation and situations will be different. Are you asking which one is faster? There's a lot of comps with minor differences that can 1pan Hiero, I believe a D.Ako comp was the fastest on jp but Azusa was not far behind.

Yeah the debuff is very big. But some people are also replacing her with Dress Ako if you rolled her, her damage is less but she's blue armor so it's less maldy in terms of survival while also debuffing defense on her normal like Azusa.

I guess because most of mine units aren't maxed out at skills,gears and not 5 stars upwards...

I have no idea. Survivability did seem pretty bad though so it probably helps.
With such powercreeps starting to get introduced (Mika / Hina dress) which make content so easy, since all you need is to pull only those 2 units and support for them, why even bother pulling other units? Let's just wait till they introduce another powercreep like those two but for blue damage and we can 1 team every boss in the game.
This game started awesome (even Wakamo and S.Hoshi didn't break the game so much in terms of powercreep). But now it's slowly becoming bad enough for me to consider dropping it, since characters I like are basically useless since all I need is to use Mika for yellow and Hina for red raids...
Even with such op characters you are still required to pull for the niche ones if you want to clear torment or even tower of set.
Look at how many units are need there and most people i seen because they only pulled the 'OP' units and some universal sipports now can't clear it well since the ones they really need they skipped.
Don't skip your waifu if u can afford yo spark them as they probably will come in very useful in the future.
Anws waifu>meta is better for enjoyment sake anyways.
Besides what the guy above pointed, s.hoshino is literally so broken shes mandatory in many raids not just red ones, and wakamo can one-pan a certain goz raid and is still very much usable on other blue raids, why do you act like the two aren't still powercreep (ESPECIALLY s.hoshino, her usage is as diverse as Mika). Majority of the bosses in the game (insane&torment) still require more than a single team, you can very much still use the students you like alongside fest students.
@@notatrap7521 Broken support character isn't as broken as burst dps character. Support will only buff other characters dmg to certain extent and will still require couple of teams. But when you get burst dps character like Mika with 100% crit rate, or D.Hina with self buff 135% explo efficiency they make the content trivial. S.Hoshi will boost them even further obviously, but even if she wasn't there those 2 would clear the raids by mostly themselves.
I'm doing torments like propably most of you, so I see how many teams (mostly 2 or 3 like for HoD 2x Mika, Chesed, whatever to clear p1, so mika can wanpan p2 etc.)
From videos D.Hina seems just as broken where kaiten/hiero is either wanpan or 2pan.
Even with mika and d.hina, even if u own them u had to apparently borrow another of these two for other content so they wont carry u hard for every single thing but having them is still a good thing if u want to clear a lot stuff easier. That being said it is still important to pull for support too since they are way crucial in a lot content than the two meta dps student. I still regret not pulling for ny fuuka as she is the most usable unit in almost everything i really need
If a game is going to have a ranking mode then no matter what, there's going to be a meta team to use to score high. This would be the case even if D.Hina or Mika didn't exist. If you don't want to use the meta units, you can clear even extreme difficulty raids pretty easily with many team comps you cook up (provided you're high level, the team still follows the boss' gimmicks and has sensible teambuilding, etc) but you are going to be miserable if the only thing you get out of this game is meta. This game does not require you to clear Insane+ content. If the only thing you can get out of the characters that release is how viable they are in the highest difficulty raids then you might as well quit now.
