thank you so much karen . this is what i was looking for. i'm taking screenshots of trades now. but don't have a proper journal. i'm planning to print the screenshot and make it the journal in itself. I just didn't want to write too many stuffs, just the important ones. as u know it's boring to write a journal. thanks for ur effort
Hey Karen. This helped me a lot when you talked about it the first time. How have you bud, I have a team around here somewhere, but their more better then my local team. Does that make you the 6th element? Lol. Sorry pal. It almost seemed like you were done with TH-cam. I don't even blame you pal.
Hey Dipen. You're most welcome. Whatever works for you. As long as you can understand what you wrote when you refer back to it one month down the road, then it's fine. The purpose is for you to improve as a trader so as long as you can achieve that objective, you're fine. All the best to you :)
Speaking on the truth, Love it! Keep it up Karen Many people realize the importance of having a trading journal but not many people are able to put down the ego, efforts to actually taking down the losing trade. If you show up on this, you are already so much more ahead than most traders in the long run. if you do really commit in this trading journal. Show up and work on your trading journal. Have a great day ahead traders
I didn't like your accent and phonetic initially on previous videos. But I must say you've so communicated to me so directly that, I want to hear you again and again. Keep it up. You've become my fav
Thanks Karen for your inspirational video. The things that you said stabs my heart like a knife because what you said was so true. I have been trading forex for more than 6 years blindly without a journal and should be scolded for that. I am not a succesful trader n i blown two accounts already. Last year i just manage to breakeven with roller coaster emotions attached to most of my trades. This year 2019 I will start to be disciplined in two things. Start a trading journal and to learn from your youtube videos. Since I don't have a proper mentor, I will imagine you as my mentor talking to me everytime I watch your videos. Thanks again.
Hey Karen, when first used a journal for trading I wasn't really sure if being reminded about the past mistakes would help. But then again that's why we study history so we don't repeat it.
Karen Foo, yeah you'er right. I never want to loose you as my friend. I really hope you and I can meet up one day so I can tell you and shake your hand and tell you "thank you buddy. You're are worth the trip my friend. And here's you're fee." You deserve my ultimate respect. I'll always be you're bodyguard. Because I have no problem protecting or dying for my big sister. Take Care Karen. I'm just an email away.
Thank you Karen. I'm adding your what went right, wrong & how I felt to what I've been doing. I've probably been thinking about those things- but not actually documenting it. By the end of the month- that might get foggy. I'm pretty new. I trade options instead of Forex. So I'm recording Put or Call & if I bought or sold them also in my journal. I wanted to know if I was getting the short term trend direction correctly. I am also printing an equity curve graph in Excel to pin up. I'm trading a small account & I find seeing the chart go up (however small) - encouraging to say that slow & steady wins the race- let it compound to myself when I look at it. I don't know if I'm doing well or not yet. I know the smart aleck answer is that if you are making money- you are. I am, but I don't know if it's just been luck. Is there a number of data points/trades that you can believe the math of your win rate ??
Wow...thanks. I learnt something new today, specially the minute details that were included in the Trading Journal. You have indeed come as a "GENIE" to us. Thanks for being there for us.
Damn Jonathan, you were right about this girl. She's really done with the business, she knows what she's talking about, she just has it, whatever it is "it" did work didn't it man? I mean a journal? Who thinks of that? That really original.
I think I’m gonna end up watching all the videos on your channel Karen I love your videos that much lol. I’m gonna journal and backtest for now on! be patient and aim like a sniper! The less trades someone makes the more profitable they become. Because they wait for the right moment, the right opportunity!!! Thanks for the video again Karen love it
i keep a trading journal and mine factors in 1. potential trading 2. entry trigger 3. position size 4. trade management i.e what i did when the trade was going on 5. trade retrospective
Really helps me in making my plan and my journal, which I have done very informal, now I will do it well. I have been doing demo for 2 year perhaps a bit more. I started a small account 2 years ago, blew it, and been in demo since then, then I did open a live on crypto, and kept the demo work and now with tradingview paper trading is great. May I use the recorded trades on the broker? Thanks for what you do, really appreciate your work!
Wow welcome back madam Foo eeh to me my trading journal have assisted me to know which currency to rare on and helped me to understand where i went bad and good thank you for your vidio I salute you 👍

Hi Karen, I’ve been struggling trying to find the best form to put all this information in one place... I figured I’d ask you what most professionals are doing in terms of storing the information... literally using a notebook? Perhaps a excel document of some sort ? There’s apps for everything nowadays is there an app that’s helpful? Thanks Karen
What informative video that is really bad ass that you thought of having a journal due to the fact most of these traitors I'm positively sure don't even record their own damn results or even bother. Unless they make money and they just leave money sitting.
good video . this must be a sign . been thinking i need to start journeling my trades and i come across this video . Need to reduce the amount of trades i do . I do about 10 trades a week and want to reduce to about 5 good ones . over trading need to be in a trade . bad mindset
When you are writing a trading journal, you are trading seriously.Once there is an opportunity to enter the market, you will allocate a proper lot size on different pairs. Some call it risk management.Sometimes there are pullbacks in the market.Risk reward ratio is much more important than winning rate.
Karen Foo Now I m from India if I trade EUR/ USD there is time difference between these two country 6hours 30minutes at what time is good to take profit trade

Either excel or word documents. Some people use softwares but not very common
Hi How I can have a meeting with you Karen? For a very large business proposition
What informative video that is really bad ass that you thought of having a journal due to the fact most of these traitors I'm positively sure don't even record their own damn results or even bother. Unless they make money and they just leave money sitting.
Journaling is common only among the consistently profitable ones, which is why the 90% needs to do it
Hi Karen, can you help with trading journal template ; thanks
I've just listed the template components in this video. 🙄
@@KarenFoo just meant if possible a REAL template (excel sheet or similar); Thank you anyway .
Karen, please discuss binary option trading for forex, oil gold, bitcoin or stocks hi hi hi
I don't recommend binary options for beginners so I prefer not to talk in detail about it
