Telling the story from the ranks being completely transparent. Speaking to the next generation there will be tough times but very achievable with the right mindset.
Great to see such genuine encouragement, half the phys i did on courses or in battalion was just beasting, zero warm ups no cool downs, and they wondered way everyone was carrying injuries. but that was the way it was, glad science and common sense have driven change.
👀😂 being keen = a positive mindset mate. The job has its not so fun moments (currently going through these moments at the minute) but staying positive/keen in these moments is what leads to growth. I’m a big believer in that skill, although not being on paper to show someone (qual) carriers for more weight when seen to be used in life.
Well done to you all 👏. You say his a Morman. Say hello to him, most of my family are Latter Day Saints (Mormons). Well guess it helps as don’t drink or smoke. Great video, you all stay safe up in the Breckons.
Not at all pal I was on tour when I was 42 in Iraq and we had quite a few reserves with us in their late 30's. Early 40's. Give it a go you have nothing to loose 😊
Oh dear. Ghastly memories, Excellent motivational work from our commentator.
As a former soldier (Royal Engineers) I love to see this kind of vlog. This does more for recruitment than any of the promotions the MOD puts out.

That guy who nearly chucked it in, but ended up smashing it. Awesome to see complete self-doubt transform into success. That is strong
Nice spot and that’s exactly what it’s all about! Physical fitness will grow over time along with mental resilience 💪
The encouragement through all this is absolutely immense
Great series and the encouragement given to the soldiers by staff is great to see.
This whole series has been class. Much respect to the lads on the cadre and always good to see a Mortarman putting the gravel bellies to shame!!
Cheers lad
Bloody hell, I could do with you tagging along with me for my cardio. Easy guaranteed PB! Quality vid and well done to the lads who dug deep!
Remember 3 miler well on SCBC. DS said last 2 in section was in appointment as Cpl and Lcpl for live platoon attack staright after.
Another great video. Your encouragement to the lads is excellent to see.
This is a great video. Can you do one on injury prevention and tabbin tips.
Yeah 100%, after this series I’ll get it sorted. Glad you like the video 💪🇬🇧
@@Rangermedia these videos are making me keen again 🤣

@@Rangermedia 100% I’ve just going from attached arms to combat arms and these videos are great too see the kinda things you get up 2.
Thanks! I got some ruck plates for Christmas, just walking with them gets tough at the moment, so would really appreciate that @@Rangermedia
Great videos great for Young men wanting to make a career of it. They are not going in blind, so much content to prepare. Excellent. FAB.
Brilliant video. Great work lads💪
Brutal. Brings back a few painful memories 😂
Great stuff. Like the format
Rucking with a Bergen whilst walking my dog is my fav thing to do on a weeke but I'm pretty worried I've given myself stress fractures :(
Great motivation
Good skills. Well done DS
The lads are motivated and fit, when will they make progress on section skills.
The horror is still fresh lol brecon runs where tough , scbc psbc and gpmg sf tough times but good times too

@@patrickoreilly5150 hahahaha thought I heard Morman, what a plonker lol 😂😂😂.
@@patrickoreilly5150 thank you for correcting me. I swear I heard Morman lol 😂.
Now you have to dig in for the night.
This is guaranteed to make you blow out of your ring piece and then spew up at the end 😂
Good effort lads , No hands on rifle on 3 miler ?
Sorry staff
Is it a silly idea wanting to join the reserves at 39 years of age
No its not you just have to work harder on your fitness, gives you a good 10 years or more 55 and your service is finished for most.
@@phil1953 cheers for replying these times were living in a lot more people need to at least think about joining 👍
Go for it lad, if I was 10 years younger, I would

Me from India can I join the training course of British reserve forces
where are you located ?
I think you should specify that these are royal Irish, rangers and part of the British Army.
All the in the title of the video. Everyone is also explained in Episode one of the series. Apologies for the confusion
Pretty fucking obvious it is pal
@@MaxKingsley72 Well it was to me.
whats the pace for this

I remember this route on PSBC 🤮
None of them call him Sergeant, has respect been lost?
These lads are in battalion not recruits, they'd only call him sergeant if senior ranks were about. 😊
@@kevinadamson5768Sgt is a senior nco. He's earned the rank so he should be shown respect. Looks like respect has been lost.
@@Thedukes1984 it has.
@@Thedukes1984 maybe times have changed, I've been out 34 years this November.
@@kevinadamson5768 maybe we are just old soldiers who preferred it how it was. I got out 35 years ago.
