Lovely performance of one of my favourite pieces. Particularly love the way they move seamlessly from the 2nd last movement into the final movement without missing a beat. Superb.
Very nice job. This is one of my favorite pieces. Good to hear a live version, and one that does it such justice. I first heard this piece in 2007 on a public classical radio station in Los Angeles, and I said, "I gotta have it!" I used the second movement as the theme for a home video I made about my then young grandson's park adventures. Thanks for posting this.

I knew that Hahn composed some lovely songs, but this "bal" is very enchanting! Thanks so much for the upload.
First heard this quite literally in the middle of the Stateside night on shortwave radio. Trying to place it kept me awake. Glad I found it!
John Fraraccio It’s a superb suite - arranged by Poulenc - and it’s hard to find a full version online! 😁
@@vjanematthews there is now a version online recorded in Paris, 1935, conducted by…… the composer!!
Seguint el génere epistolar de Proust he arribat aquí. Gran músic al qui no li agradava Beetoven.
