Located between Barnes and Mortlake stations in south-west London, being one of five crossings in the London Borough of Richmond. There are two side roads directly next to the crossing here so there is a total of six warning lights. The footbridge was installed and opened in 2019 and the pathways across the crossing are painted bright yellow so they are visible.
During the day of filming, there were South Western Railway trains being diverted through Barnes due to line closures, which meant there was more trains than usual running through Mortlake and North Sheen stations. As a result, the crossing was usually lowered for more than one train, causing a fair bit of congestion each time the crossing was lowered.

Very nice video! Ultra-wide looks great on your Iphone. Quite a nice and busy crossing this, especially with the main line diversions I'd imagine, and it's a bit nicer now they did build the 'Hart Bypass' footbridge tbh.

To be fair, as the stop line was further forward, so they would’ve had to brake harshly in order to stop. Was probably better continuing through.
