How do you make your default cube purple? Also, these types of videos are great! One where the animation breaks apart and comes back together would be amazing!
Go to render properties and click the little arrow, then go to 'color' and click on 'single' then change the color.
Still really quick as you go through, but...I'm gonna grab a coffee, put this in 0.75 speed and get cooking.
Also, can you give us the final product after your videos?!!

This is a very good Tutorial for someone thats learning Blender! I got one huge issue tho after 22:25 When you do the Outset, the outer line doesnt appear and when i later extrude it out, the topology is just fked up

If good topology requires equally sized Ngons shouldn't that be a Blener feature: Mesh > Equal Ngons?
