While this did not exactly help me with my issue, It showed me an option that I overlooked on the SSL provider that I was using. So in that, I am eternally grateful!
What's interesting, when I select, "Complete Certificate Request" and fill it out. The server certificate shows up / is listed but when I leave the page and come back the server certificate is no longer listed.
Does this help me to remove the not secure warning on my google chrome permanently ?? its almost a month still i can't remove the warning in my browser
Hello you created a certificate but lets say you get one from Thawte where do you put that file on a 2019 server so iis sees it in the view list to pick.
I get a 403.14-forbidden message everytime I edite the SSL settings to require ssl on the site. i'm using a self signed certifcate, and the site should ask me about which certs I should use. Does anyone happen to know why i'm not getting that?
@Creative RowKnock what you need is a public dns record type A point the ip to the name. You put the certificate on the website, and you point the ip to the website.

We don't need any third party tool to create the certificate. We can do this with simple openssl commands as well.
There is currently no section called configure DNS on the site as in the video. I get the same error in zerossl. What else would you recommend?

Sorry, I miss this question. How do you mean by "after". You should always give a fixed public IP, before start any configuration. Is the first step.
