Thanks for the feedback, it wasn’t knocking, not intending to knock the other guy, it’s just pointing out the fact that there is a lot of info out there, and sometimes it comes from people who aren’t really professionals, yet claim to be. The idea with this channel is to pass on concrete practical knowledge that will serve you because it’s been actually tried and tested. Hope that clears it up!

Wow this is a great video! I paused it at the moment where you explained, why you need to be willing to suffer for your passion. Well; I am willing to do that, but filmmaking is not my passion. But I always wasn't sure what is it and I still don't know exactly. But your carefull choice of words showed me, that it is not filmmaking. Thank you!
It’s good to know where you stand and where you want to invest your time. You can always participate in filmmaking as a hobby and not a career if you want to just try things and do it on your spare time!
Just received an inconvenient email message yesterday telling me that I never made it in their winners selection for the film contest that I've entered for the 1st time in my life.I realized that 1 min film is difficult I wonder how difficult is 1 hour movie.Or is it because we're using different resources since I do everything on a smartphone?Now the movie is upgraded but I haven't entered a contest with the upgraded version.Is it advisable to submit an upgraded version to other contests while I've already contested with the old version of the same movie?
Hey Godfrey, your question was a little difficult to understand but from what I understood, I’d say always submit the best quality film you can with the materials you have. If you shot it on an iPhone make sure the image and sound quality is the absolute best it can be for that medium. Film contests and film festivals are really tricky and often times they’ll reject GREAT films. I’ll make a video on my experience with film festivals for next week, it’ll touch on a lot of those questions you may have! But don’t get discouraged I’m sure you’re film is fantastic, and I’m sure there’s opportunity for learning, don’t give up and continue growing and learning I wish you all the best of Luck and success!!
