Its a trend the filmmakers started around 3-4 years ago (very rare though). And 90% of the actors can't sing, while they can dance and might have other skills. But they don't sing. These are dubbed in the movie and they lip sync it, after a singer sings it in a studio. There are very few actors/actresses who can sing and might do it for an event or special song.
