This show helps me prove what I've always wanted to say to people. A good fighter is not the strongest, a good fighter is the one who knows how to fight and thinks about what he is going to do during the fight. You being muscular won't matter if you don't know what you're doing. He's not strong, but he uses objects around him and what he knows to beat everyone up.
Good fighter is the one who survives to fight another battle.

That Mike Tyson saying is pretty open to interpretation, because if you've been punched in the face, use what you've learned to not let it happen again. This is not fantasy.

This is a choreographed show lil bro, fighters train footwork and their combos and imprint them into muscle memory because no reasonable person can create a plan while getting beat with their dendrites firing signals of pain and their heart pumping adrenaline. Saying physique doesnt matter is also a delusion, just your physical size is enough to outclass you when you fight, hence why men and women fight separately and why weight classes are important in fighting and wrestling. And even if you plan is so good you are playing chess while your opponent plays checkers, without agility and actual stopping power it litterally does nothing. FIghting isnt some anime where people have internal monologues about how they will take down their opponent. Sure, you cant blindly flail your arms around if you are bigger and expect to win, but theres a reason why mma is considered a bloodsport/physical sport differentiating it from other martial arts like judo. Its a physical competetion and a show of strength, not chess. Sure a good fighter has to think, but thinking that brain can outmanuever physical strength when the figher is so desperately outclassed like in this situation is delusional. It also doesnt take much to pick up a wrench or pen to swing around.
The amount of times I heard "physical education class" in one minute made me want to cry LOL

Best part about this is that nothing leads anywhere. Usually it would be a bad thing but it works in weak hero class 1.
On a side note: My sister left and did not want to watch this after the table scene. I thought it was funny that she just left as fast as she could. She liked watching criminal minds with me.

He also didn't act weak. To the bully, he a person who has gut and not afraid to show his feeling ( anger, disappointment and resentment glare). He also prepare to attack if he feel threatened. Where the part when he act weak 🤣🤣
You definitely right about the fact that he doesn't "act" weak. He is " weak". He not even good at fighting either. That why he couldn't dodge some attack. And always look for weak point and uses tools to attack. He is a type of person that work smart not hard.

I think most of us know this show is based off of the webtoon weak hero but a lot of people mention that yeon si eun cant fight for shit. I mean obviously he cant 💀💀hell even in the manhwa, gray doesnt loose his shit until stephen gets effed up. People mentioned yeon not having good fight scences and that suho's were much better. I agree, but like, even gray doesnt even fight in the flashback... he only does it at the end of the flashback, and even yeon does that in episode 8. So no, the fight scenes arent any less than the manhwa. Theyre just as emotional, painful and well-performes as in the manhwa. Yeon gets stronger once suho is hurt ( in the webtoon ) soooooo, yeon fought just fine, lets pray for weak hero class 2!!🎉❤
thats true the manhwa version grey starts fighting ones his friend fell prey for bullying by the very person he thought was friends with. He was technically weaker than other so name weak hero people talking that the si eun was weak or his fighting scenes weren't as good as suho are people who have not read the manhwa. i mean he did wonderful job portraying the character hope he stars the next season.

Man this drama was DEEP.... As a teacher, watching this bullying, pisses me off because TEACHERS are the real villians when educators ignore and play dumb when this level of cruelty goes on.
Some of the instances involve the teachers turning a blind eye because the parents of the bullies are wealthy enough to pay for the blindness of teachers.
Why be teachers if the teachers not going to defend the kids.
My gosh, this is such an intense recap. I just love the relationship between the three, but then it got twisted. Awesome recap. thank you I love the protagonist of the story.

i had a classmate who was shy, bad at sports,did not liked ANY music,admited that she gets sad if for whatever reasons a class gets canceled,but she was over the top great on every class except for physical education...and... everyone liked her and no male or female bullies ever tried to bully her...even though my school at the time was one of the roughest schools around...

...whoah, this is an intense story. It's also kind of refreshing, something different.
Never try to get over the borderline of anyone, not everyone has a good EQ like the MMA friend, and people with a better mental state like him usually are dedicated to something, and training makes them to be something "strong" enough to handle you and this the best scenario already.
Most of them will just be silence and mentally break down randomly like that glasses guy and they will harm everyone around including themselves and no one can stop them until it's too late.
If you're lucky enough, you might see a person like the main character. Trust me, if you don't back off and no one is there to stop, they will kill you or at least dismantle you in some ways and not even caring about their life and they're like feeling no pain. Those people usually are the one with specific talents or high IQ so don't think you can simply just fight them off. Remember, there is just a thin line between Genius and Insanity, it's not easy to bring us hope but it's much easier to bring you hell.

I loved this series so much!! This was my way of watching it again without spending so many hours 😹 I highly recommend watching the full series though if you haven’t. There are many parts that he skipped over that are really good and their acting is so realistic!! I will forever stay in awe of this show❤️

That damn classroom scene was what sucked me into this drama usually I like romance ones but some coming of age and friendship based ones but I enjoy that they didn’t focus on Sieun and yeonji but sieun, suho and beom seoks friendship and how they deal with their bullies
sieun and youngyi were not a couple or even anything close to romantic though 😭why are the female characters in male centric shows always perceived as just love interests even when they're not, damn :/

Right, I always love the story lines in these shows but I find it hilarious that despite having had their face smashed in by a book, or having a crow bar lumped over their heads they always wake up looking like they’ve just stepped off a vogue cover shoot hahaha Looe one teeny,tiny wee scratch perfectly placed on the cheek, not a blue and black bloody pulp face instead.
He uses the same style in fighting as me when I was in high school. I really enjoyed watching this drama

For anyone wondering. The Movie was a prequel to a manwah called Weak Hero. It was a very good fucking series and I recommend everyone go and read it because what comes next is one hell of a rollercoaster.

Crazy how people mistake smart and wit for weakness quiet for scared I was the same way in HS freshman year when bullies came at they found out real quick my family is full of roughnecks I mean felons and fighters I grew up having to fight I was just the quiet one of us my first fight I tossed the guy around it drew more attention and more came I beat them all until they jumped me and they injured my leg…my brothers found out and let’s say they showed up to the school because of it no one bothered me again since sophomore year EVER not that there weren’t moments guys dudes try to single me out but I ignored it because if I entertained it I’d be expelled
