To the two previous posts: sometimes what's printed does not result in a good looking model. I built Angraf's Famo and there was no way to build it nicely without paint. So far, so good Dan!
Hello Randy...usually I do as well. It's the safest but this one needed a face lift. All of this panel line stuff is experimental so we'll see how it goes! Stay tuned and thanks for the comment. -Dan
Dan, this is a great series, however I think you’ve gone a bit over the top. The beauty of card model building (for me anyway) is that you don’t need to paint. I learned a lot from the series and your other endeavours. Looking forward to seeing more.
I think you are right, Edward. I marvel at petal spinners and complex curves with cuts that look clean and amazing...when you are really talented! Sometimes I at least cover and repaint spinners and cowlings but I know that others can make them look great. This particular art work on the model was just too child-like and gaudy for my liking plus the colors seemed way off and I don't know how to recolor on a computer so this is my fall back!
