Thank you brother man. This is one of my nicest rescues to date. Very happy you enjoyed the video and I’m honored by your comment. Take care and have a great rest the week.
Thank you my friend. That pine is sick nasty imo also. Me and Josey think she’s been reworked. Wishful thinking I know but in person you can definitely see the blade edge bevel change and the very tip of it also has been slightly retouched. He knew very well what he was doing because he touched it up while salvaging the overall length of the point. Either way I’m glad you enjoyed to video and your comment means a lot to me. Take care brother and have a great weekend.
Thank you brother. She’s anciently damaged but I believe it’s been reworked. I’m thinking about doing a video on it and to also show some overlooked characteristics of the pinetree. Either way I’m glad you enjoyed the video and I hope you get on some killers here soon. Have a great weekend my friend.
Haha thank you. I love taking Sam out with me. He’s my little buddy. He’ll be a natural like his uncle Joe if he pays it half a mind when hes older. Heck he’s starting to become my good luck charm 🍀Take care Tim. Y’all have a great day and thanks for the comment.
Thanks my friend. My little lucky charm will be coming with me this year as much as his mother will allow. The boys a natural haha thanks for the comment and have a great day.
Thank you as always Norma. That pinetree was out of this world. Sammy is so sweet and such a good man. He’ll be kind hearted like his mama and hopefully continue hunting my sites. Take care and have a great weekend
That’s awesome 😎 thank you so much Randy for the kind words. The pinetree culture was very meticulous and it shows in the style in which they made their points. Also one of my favorite types as well. This year should be amazing if I can find the time to get out there. Have a great day and thanks again my friend.
😂 thanks for the laugh brother. He’s naturally in tune with the world like his uncle Joe. I’m a close second at times but I’m still constantly having to align my chi haha. Take care Charles and have a great weekend
Thanks Jake. She’s out of this world regardless of the damage. I’m just happy it appears to be an ancient ding. I love it if they happen to be anciently broke cause theres probably one hell of a story that goes with it. Take care brother, happy hunting, and have a great weekend.
Josey Whales said the same thing. After reviewing the piece I’d have to agree of course lol but seriously tho it does looked slightly touched up and good to go. I don’t think he cared about it and maybe after using it one more time and possibly missing his target he just said to hell with it and never went to get it assuming it was broke and knowing he had its replacement all ready to go. I can tell you this much for certain. Those pinetree boys were very particular and meticulous. Thanks you very much for the comment and have a great night Mr. Zzzzzzzzzz
That's what I call a productive day with the banks! I thought that was a Lost Lake for a sec. Just a perfect example of workmanship 🤌 an absolute smoker brother, congratulations!
Thank you brother man. I’ll be hitting that lost lake site this weekend. 🤞🏻 We’ve had some killer winds which is what kicked all these artifacts out. I’ll say this without a doubt that the pinetree culture was extremely meticulous. I don’t find many crude examples of the type. It’s like they left no detail undone. Either way thanks again and have a great weekend my friend
Killer TN pinetree man, classic ft payne, beautiful patination and color it picked up over all those years. Good size to that one and just killer four side beveling. Precision beveling and maintained symmetry . Beauty
Thank you brother for taking the time to comment. It’s a shame about the tip but this is one of my nicest pieces from this area and it could possibly be reworked/used as is. Take care brother and have a great weekend
Thank you brother and Oh you already know. The hard part is translating it sometimes… he’s got a speech delay/lazy tongue 👅 tho that’s not slowing him down at all. I imagine this is how y’all feel listening to my crazy butt haha. Either way again thank you for the comment and have a great weekend my friend
I just need my father to come in town and then we’ll have three generations out there at the same time. Either way it should be one hell of a year. Take care Scott and best of luck out there my friend. The possibilities are endless.
Well brother you couldn’t be in a better place to find killer artifacts. Also perfect pieces are so rare. Most everything I find is nice don’t get me wrong but usually they have some damage. I have only a handful of “perfect pieces.” Get your butt to the river. Creeks are fun for sure but very hard to find nice artifacts that aren’t worn out from all the tumbling. Either way have a great day Tim and thanks for the comment
Wow, that's enough to make me want to take off across a trashed out freshly picked bean field. To get real lucky or get a bounty of disappointment. I would die to find a Pinetree like that. Thanks for sharing.
Hey it’s all part of it brother. Most people don’t hunt when the crops are harvested but that dirt has set a long time getting weathered. You never know till ya go type stuff. I’d honestly kill to have some fields to hunt. Either way thank you for the laugh and kind words. Take care Eric and have a great weekend my friend
@benallen7793 you get up here we'll hit some fields. It comes a few inches of rain there'll be points all in the bean trash. They plowed one of my hot spot fields when I wasn't looking. I noticed it yesterday. I found 2 in it today. I haven't had a chance to figure out what type they are. Anyway your always welcome to stomp some fields around here with me. The one I was in today is walking distance from my house. The hot spot in it is one mile. Flat ground. I've found them all over the field in past years.
Hahaha he’s like his uncle Joe. Naturally in tune. I just pray I can make it fun for him so he enjoys going as much as I do. Take care and thanks for the comment RTR.
Thank you brother man. It does appear to have a four way bevel on one side and on the other it looks like a left hand bevel as well. I think that’s because he resharpened the point after it broke. Throwing off the balance slightly to reuse the point. Thanks for the comment and have a great day buddy.
Haha one of my favorites and like you I’m a spoiled man with the love of an amazing woman. Spaghetti is second only in this house to a ketchup and brown sugar glazed meatloaf 🤤 haha night buddy.
Hey buddy some great finds my friend. We’ve been missing your videos. I’m sure it’s good to get out. We are itching ourselves. Congrats on all your finds. That pinetree is 💯🔥 and congrats! Say hi to Josey Whales for us. Take care!
Thank you brother. Its been a long off season to say the least. Super happy to be finding again tho and I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I hope y’all get the same opportunity here soon. Are y’all still digging on that incredible site? Love y’all’s content. I’ll pass the word on to Josey as well. Take care and have a great weekend
@@benallen7793 yes sir, still digging at the same site. Dig is still like concrete due to the summer drought. Needless to say we have been praying for rain. Putting a video together so be on the lookout. Take care my friend! 👍🏻
Sure did enjoy the hunt that pine was sick brother. I know it hurts with that little bit of damage but still a amazing artifact. Take care and good luck
Thank you my friend. The break was an ancient one and honestly after reviewing the piece it appears like it was touched up and possibly used as is. That’s wishful thinking tho. Take care Tiller and God bless. Can’t wait to see what else comes out of the overhang your on. That’s a dream dig.
Sweet finds Ben, it's amazing skills that made that Pine Tree and the other 2 are awesome even with the damage. My phone keeps going offline so I haven't caught a lot of videos I sub too but I'm glad I was able to stay connected to see you and your buddy make some memories 👍. I'm going to try to post some pictures of what I think is my first paleo find which looks to have been reworked later in time judging by the different patina. I can't do any videos yet but hopefully the community page will work. GL next hunt 👍
Thank you Larry. These videos will last multiple lifetimes hopefully. A memory I will always cherish and thanks to TH-cam can go back and enjoy when I’m older. Hate to hear that about your phone but I’m sure you’ll get it resolved soon enough. That piece you posted is very interesting. Looks like an oldie to me it’s just hard to tell because of the material it’s made out of (quartz) either way continue hunting that site and time should tell you what she is. I’m good at typing things from my sites because I have so much to go off of that’s been found there. Sorry I know this isn’t much help but without having the point in front of me it’s the best I can do. Take care Larry and have a great weekend my friend.
Man you sure are living right, just look at all the killers your finding,I'm just going to set back and wait for that G10 Clovis your going to find I have a feeling your going to get one this year,God is good.
🤞🏻 lord I hope your wishes come true. I’m definitely well dialed in after years of stomping through the mud. It’ll make my hip replacement that much more bearable in 15 years. Haha thanks again Mike and have a wonderful weekend ✌🏻
Thanks for the inquiry 🧐 no sir he has a speech delay/lazy tongue when it comes to forming his words/syllables. He’s in speech therapy and his pediatrician says he’s just fine thank God. I’m trying to make rock hunting fun for him. Honestly I think he enjoys jumping from boulder to boulder haha. Thanks for the comment and have a great weekend Cliff
@@benallen7793 a day spent jumping from rock to rock, with dad in the creek, is better than sitting in front of a TV, any day of the week. Keep it up and he'll turn out just fine!
Blowing smoke son. 3 Killers! Congrats brother!
Teaching your son to find pine trees ! Just awesome!
Thank you my friend.
Dad gum, the ears on that pine tree! Can't believe they survived so long! All were great finds. Loved the material on that first one
