I have a similar one in my kitchen, but it's only the center design. I have a video on it. that thing certainly moves a more air than a range hood. I think my grandma's house--the house that my dad and his brothers grew up in--also had these in the bathrooms. (her house was built around 1953 or '55, with an addition in the early 70s). I think it also had a built-in gas incinerator in the basement for burning trash--why don't we have those anymore?
