Sounds like a great plan Joel. I'm looking forward on seeing it from you soon. I'll be glad to share it on the Neo-Geo thread on Atariage for you once it's up and available for the public to view bro. 8^) Anthony..
Thank you for sharing this great video. I love the Neo-Geo and having the Arcade Stick Pro is a must in anyone's collection. I posted this up on The Neo-Geo thread for others to view and to give additional exposure to your works. It's on post #26,187. Thank you for sharing this Joel. Anthony..
Thank you very much. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have been very happy with it as a console and using it to play pc and switch games as well. It's a great value.
You're welcome Joel. Thank you for the reply as well. I agree, it's a great value and well worth owning. Would you be interested on doing future Neo-Geo content off of it in the near future? Any game to your preference is fine. Anthony..
Yeah I have plans on maybe doing a review of Metal Slug 2 or Shock Troopers. I also really love Love Fatal Fury special. I was also pondering a top 5 favorite game available on the Arcade Stick Pro video as well. We’ll see what happens here in next few weeks.
It seems like there are minor improvements made for each one of these retro Neo Geo products SNK releases. Looks like this one is a combination of solid arcade stick feel and generally good output to a modern TV. For one hundred bucks, than ain't bad! The unlockables really do bring in some heavy hitters. Love those Shock Trooper games!
@@ThePoorMansRetroGameRoom don't forget the Hylostick Hack. Unlocks the whole Neo Geo collection(150 games), plus CPS 1,2,3,, Sega Genesis, SNES, and classic arcade games. You can take this thing from 40 to 500 games!!!!!
Great video! At $2.50 a game that is a great bargain. It is too bad that they didn't include any of their fantastic shmups, but that game list has some classics. If I didn't have an MVS already, I would have purchased two of these.
I agree on the shmups and I wish Baseball Stars 2 and Cyber Lip would have been included as well. It's a pretty good barging at this price along with 20 unlockable though. Good post
Your picture looks good in pixel mode but it is unplayable on my UHD TV - They dont't work well together. I had to play it in smooth mode. Why is that? What kind of monitor do you use? Thanks for the review. I like the mini pads too.
This style of arcade emulation ia what got me back into games of old. Then I mounted one in a custom arcade cabinet. Then I found it hard to stop! 😂 Looks like a good product. Do you see yourself modding it or using it in alternative ways? Or just keeping as is? Thanks for the vid.
I wasn't planning on but I ended up opening it up and rearranged the buttons so it would look more like an MVS stick. It was very easy so now I'm kind of thinking about getting some cool looking buttons and ball top.
@@ThePoorMansRetroGameRoom I love to hear that! So cool. My personal preference is for batton style joysticks. I feel the ball top is best for super vintage games but feel a batton gives extra precision for fighting and beat-em-ups especially. I could be all in my head though! 😁
@The Gameroom I think your correct because I have heard that before. Yeah you can change everything in this stick without soldering. I was thinking how cool it would be to mount this in a stand up arcade shell and mount a LCD HD monitor in it as well. That would rock but I don't have the room lol.
@@ThePoorMansRetroGameRoom Haha you've just described my first arcade build! I hooked my generic 2 player arcade board up to a PC and did exactly that. Then I sold and upgraded...Again and again.
I think it's awesome you always post videos with good deals and details on how to get them! Good job!
Thanks kid! Love ya!
@@ThePoorMansRetroGameRoom love you too!!
Thank you for actually giving us the website where to find the extra games
Your very welcome. Thank you for watching
I like that Golden Axe picture.
Thanks man! That came with my model one! Thanks for watching!
Thanks! Very good review! Can't wait till payday!
Awesome! Thanks for the kind feedback!

Looks awesome! Enjoyed the unboxing. The games look great, and it’s a good deal!
Thank you and thanks for watching. It would look pretty good in the dad racer dungeon man.
Excellent video, very helpful too.

Also I now have a way of capturing video from it
I have that same Punisher knife. My favorite SNK games are the Metal Slug series followed by King of the Monsters.
Nice! The Metal Slug series is so good. I need to play more King of the Monsters, I haven’t played it much but have heard a lot of good things.
Maybe you should get the Japanese Neo Geo mini.
This is awesome! I just jumped on one finally 😃 can't wait! Just found your very cool channel..sub'd👍👍👾
Thanks for watching and the kind words! Congrats it’s a great device!
I fear you just cost me $100.00. Another excellent video.
Thank you. Let’s think of it as saving $40.00 LOL. Thanks for watching and your support.

Yes it seems like SNK really got it right this time. I love it especially because I no longer have the OG AES. This is a good value

nice video. Is there a possibility to unlock even more neo geo games?
There was a hack out there but it’s hard to find.

It doesn't appear that the Game Linq adapter supports the XBOX ONE only the PS3, PS4 and the Switch.
Neat system. Nice to see what it can do.

That’s a good question. I suspect it may have to do with my tv being an older hdtv and not a uhd tv. Interesting. Thanks for watching.

Found it at a random furniture overstock store today for 90 bucks.
Almost grabbed it. Hmm...
