Go to the local news station about the rats and your other home issues. There is no way they didn’t know. Get them out there and put them on blast! Go door to door and solicit other neighbors to see what issues they have and then y’all get together and call the news.

Hey, Congratulations again on your new home. I baught the BELL+HOWELL ULTRASONIC PEST REPELLANT, they work great. They give off a Frequency that Rats, Mice, Roaches, Ants, and Spiders can't stand. I baught mine from AMAZON, in large rooms I would do 2, and they don't harm humans or pets.

Get with all of your neighbors and you tag team the builder and if that doesn’t work, then you go to the news network and the neighbors guarantee you you’ll get the ball rolling that way. The bed looks nice and that sage green is awesome. Great job.😍

I have been in Texas all my life and with new builds there are always field rats, possums, armadillos, snakes, and coyotes (if you’re by an empty field).
Not to scare you guys but get your house professionally fumigated and put some rat traps out.

A lot of new neighborhoods have possum and squirrel issues. I had possum that would walk the top of the fence at night for YEARS. Everytime it came thru the neighbors dogs would bark. They have long tails also and look similar to large rats🤦🏼I"m in Ft Bend. We see everything...
All new builds have a rodents,bugs & spiders issues cause the ground was disturbed…if you can call a pest control service and get outside & inside treatment but if not Lowes / Home Depot has a good product called Ortho home defense ..spray around the perimeter of ur home(inside & outside) , doorways & window sills

You can buy a miter saw for a good price and build your tool collection. Plus, you’re such a great builder, you can make about anything with that and a table saw, drills, nail guns and a few other minor tools. I’m a woman and I’ve done so much. I’m taking my home from builder grade to luxury. Investing in tools is a great money saver, now that you’re a homeowner.

That rodent situation had to come from what type of land it was before there were homes built on it, could have been a landfill causing possible field mice. I had a co-worker years ago that purchased a new home in a new sub they all had rodent issues under the kitchen sink, only to find out it had been a landfilled many years ago.

File a grievance report about the land your house build on the rat problem is the builders responsibility to treat the land before they build on it you all are tax payers to the city and country so call the code inspection office to the city you paying to complain about the issues you are having they are responsible for the land that those new builds are own that's your rights if you pay any money to treat your house they have to reimburse you both code inspection to the city you are buying in were you paying your taxes. Keep all receipts always fire proof file cabinet go buy you one. ❤❤❤ Pop and mama J
