Totally agree, there was one that had random sounds of giant construction beams dropping, ambulances going off, trucks backing up, my god it was awful!! And soooooo loud. This is really nice.

This is beautiful. I spent many holidays and summers with my Uncle at 447 East 57th years ago and loved hearing the city wake up. That Condo at Christmas was something out of a fairytale. Years later right before college he downsized to 300 Mercer and I spent the summer there. Those memories are some of the best of my life and he just passed last month. This reminds me so much of our time together.
About an hour in and i realized it was looped after hearing the same sounds, but boy do i miss living in the city! These sounds give me an extreme rush of nostalgia xD Thank you for this!

Law and Order junkie here. Listen carefully during any scene where the witness is on the stand. You can hear the background noise of Lower Manhattan. You will always hear the occasional taxi honking. (I'm very confident those are taxi horns.)

Let's see if you like my story is improvised but I think it looks perfect with this video It was a morning in the scandalous city of New York, a sunrise was seen in the orange sky quite beautiful, I was walking through the streets while I contemplated the rich people buying and the children going to school, I entered the most prestigious coffee shop in New York when I saw her, a woman with a trench coat and a scarlet hat was having a coffee while she closed her eyes drinking it, that woman was known as The Red Lady, a detective who unmasked many criminals, including big businessmen, I thought that a detective like her would walk carefully in the streets of New York but she was not there having a coffee as if she did not care that someone would retaliate against her she was calm having that coffee while she had a newspaper in her left hand a newspaper that talked about her and her incredible discovery about the life of one of the biggest executives in New York, that woman in a matter of seconds and had ruined the life but at there she was not caring about the lives of others without caring who would be behind her Did you like it? My dream is to become a writer, I am still learning to correct my spelling mistakes by reading the greatest writers like Jane Austen and of course by reading mysteries like Sherlock Holmes.
I’m a big Swiftie so that would be cool but she is in the West Village and I’m Midtown East. 😢 I still hold out hope I’ll see her one day, Sarah Jessica Parker too.

Do you have a problem with neighbor's stomping and the whole building feeling like one giant apartment septated by a Pyrex poor excuse for walls and ceilings? haha! I'm studying for an exam and hopefully moving to the US afterwards, NY is most likely gonna be my destination and I've heard many people say that this is something to expect in NY! Is it true? Please say no! Lol!
Hi! Thanks for watching! So I've lived in many apartment buildings across Manhattan and Brooklyn. My experience is that some of the "older" apartment buildings tend to be quieter than some newer or "updated" ones. An apartment in Brooklyn was recently updated, and if my neighbor sneezed/coughed, I could hear it. Then some of our apartments in Manhattan in very old buildings were so quiet we only ever heard neighbors if they were blasting their music. It's so varied and hard to know what it will be like to live in it, but with NYC, one of the equally frustrating/amazing parts is you typically move every year or two. So if something isn't a great fit, you'll move again shortly.
