This is exactly what I thought, I personally didn’t see anything wrong with that, but us westerners are brought up with a mindset of putting your self first in all thing even if it’s at the disadvantage of your own parents. My manager told me that her father life was ended on a (life support machine) and this was done because her and her family didn’t want to deal with the burden of looking after him while they had to work there jobs and look after their children, was so unsettling for me when I hear that as this is how far society has come😢
a case of cultural clash, in the east, you don't just marry the other party, you marry the whole clan, and they will be up close and personal all the time.
Wow! I am speechless. This guy wasted 6 Mio THB and walked away without batting an eye lid? I know a Scandinavian guy who did the same to the tune of 10 Mio THB. Very foolish. Whilst it is almost an unbelievable story, the reality is that his story is all too common and has been so for years in our land of smiles. Good to see him rebuilding his life in PTTYA after making terrible emotional decisions. Hopefully a big lesson to others, if they'll watch, read, listen and learn. I 100% know though that his story won't be the last of its kind amongst our gullible Farangs who get easily seduced by the lure of a younger, tanned, skinny gal.
Why are all these situations occurring only in Pattaya? Why aren't these men going to meet women in other parts of Thailand. All of these women seem to have some relationship with isaan & bars. 😅😅
The reason guys go to Pattaya for women is you can pick up with no work involved and quickly. If on a 2 week holiday guys don't have time or patience searching in other parts. That's my guess.

Just an idea for your channel, if you build up a few short stories combine them in to a single video, that might solve the 15 min issue and we still get to hear the stories :)

Unpopular opinion.... but I think it's actually selfish/childish to have a man building basically a mansion in a Thai village, with so many bedrooms/games rooms/etc , and your Thai wife's family lives in really poor conditions down the road. I do like that in Thailand the family is close and do think that's how it should be, not perfect by any means, but these sort of stories rub me the wrong way. I would feel wrong/weird building such a lavish house and expecting the family to just stay in their slum and keep them out of sight out of mind. Though I know our western cultures are different and we've been raised that way...
I wouldn't have bought a house under anyone else's name..But if I did make that mistake and did build the house and the family moved in and I knew I was F'd I would have acted nice ,sent the family away on a day trip..emptied the house when they where away,got a bulldozer in and demolished the house and vanished before they got back.😂

What if these homes were built with a 30 year loan in wife’s name, then if it gets taken, it will have debt attached to it. Maybe the interest is worth a little security?
For a villa I would consider buying it through a limited company with a fixed share structure. Then you have to use it for business reason but you can just put it on airbnb or something i am sure, to justify it. I am not expert but it sounds safer, or better buy a condo in your own name or stick to renting.

Culture trap, been married to a local for a few years, still get caught out occasionally. We have a house in Bangkok, another near Kalasin and a farm. And a solid percentage of Thais apparently are related to her 😆. Nothing critical has happened, just some tears along the way due to expectations that are counter to our way of life
