Good to see more of us out there shredding with the young whippersnappers 😂! Just turned 61 and started back riding about a year and half ago after a long hiatus. In Central Texas - not Austin, but north. Loving my new Salsa Horsethief. Had a similar creaking issue and turned out the the pivot point bolts weren’t torqued enough. Got it fixed and riding Ninja quiet now - minus the heavy breathing! #getinthedirt
New sub here sir, love the video, I am in far EAST TEXAS, so this isn't too awful far away. Looks like a fun place to go visit. Love the bike your on as well. Thanks for takin the time to make this and share this with ys and I hope you have a blessed week. Spring is in the air, here, I am sure it is in your neck of the woods as well. Keep up the fun videos my friend. dale
I appreciate the comment and the subscribe! I'm trying to cover all the best (IMO) trails in DFW. This is certainly one of them. More videos coming this Spring!
@@Over60MTBAny time brother, I am going to start adding some MB content to my channel this spring as well, Working on an intro video to it as we speak. Keep up the great work and maybe we can meet up sometime. Dale
Nice footage. I'm 52 and started mountain biking last year and love it. I'm in Houston and would love to ride these trails.
Thanks! where do you ride in Houston? I've ridden Ant Hills a few times.
Quality video & helpful trail beta.
It's a fun trail for sure
Very nice job on those climbs. Just a heads up, you also rode Dragonfly at the beginning of this video.

Glad you're back on the bike. Everything about riding just gets a little harder at our age! 😆
