Look up "One of a Kind" in the dictionary and see Jonathan's picture. I remember buying this when it came out and playing it over and over. Good Winters for a fan. Thank you very much.

I just listened to the whole album and I recognized where I got my sense of humor from. I still call certain people clowns. That was the Jonathan Winters way. It's humor that get's us through in life folks for some of us

His combination of characterizations, impressions, satire and comedic ambiance like sound effects made him literally incomparable because nobody else possessed his scope of comedic talent.

I used to love it very much when Johnny Carson was with him on his Tonight Show...man, there was so much humor when he was on...both Johnny and Jonathan were non stop funny. There is so much that TH-cam digs up for us that I thought I'd never see again, including the very excellent films from the 40's and 50's...even the 1930's.
The younger generations miss out when they do not see Edward G Robinson, Dana Andrews, Alan Ladd in the crime shows, etc. All the actresses were great, Doris Day with James Garner and her terrific drama films. THANKS TH-cam.

You know... you could say "Thanks, Jason1920..." but I guess I'll take the compliment anyway!

had several of these bits memorized as a six year old. Didn't know what made it funny, but I loved his voice.

Johnny was amazeing. He was an improve master, he was a great writer and he was a great painter. His brain never stopped. If you look up the word insanity it says “ see Jonathan winters “ . If you’ve never seen anything him and robin Williams together look for the interview robin Williams and Jonathan did together, it is the greatest thing ever it’s actually scared people because they had me laughing so hard.

the Moon Map sketch is a favorite, and Sail Cat... it's all infused with a childlike sense of fun.

"We see two men together, our Navy's in trouble." That same line today would utterly destroy Jonathan Winters and his career. That is why there are no more American comedians of his caliber. The tyranny of political correctness has debased our country into a humorless society. If you laugh at "the wrong things", you're dead.

The 'diversity' crowd has killed diversity. Of thought, perspective, free expression.

Americans had a good sense of humor then. Today they would just be waiting for something to pounce upon.
