Hooray, you're finally playing it! It's been long since I've watched your videos, especially since I didn't want to get spoiled on Legacy of Rust. As always, I'll write a whole bible as I go through the video. Right from the start, I appreciate the different music, but you might wanna keep the standard tracks for MAP15 and the two Wolfenstein levels (MAP31 and MAP32). It just fits them a lot better in my opinion. I'm so glad you brought Stalvern back, yippee! Also, loving that mod you've been cooking up, I gotta give that a try. The kick seems nice, but maybe speed up the animation a little to make it more useful. I'm in LOVE with the chaingun though! The first map looks a lot nicer than the others because Entryway is also one of the most detailed Doom 2 Sandy maps. I guess he wanted to leave a good first impression. This one's actually LESS detailed than the original. Yes, Sandy preferred spamming enemies over using fewer, stronger ones. This was one of the hardest things to adjust to, because I usually do the exact opposite. But I needed to fill the monster count somehow, since I only had about half as many as the original levels initially. All I know about "The Gantlet" is that it's a place where two train tracks converge, which is why I interpret it as a train station or depot of sorts. That isn't what this map is though, it's actually 2Fort! Hence "The Fortress" :P And "The Office" is a parody of the office from the Stanley Parable. The crusher at the end was actually a reference to the bad ending from my Stalvern Parable mod! By the way, the secret exit to MAP31 is in MAP15 as well. Just keep an eye out for that then :) Glad you enjoyed it so far!
@@GermanPeter Everyone released wads all in the same week and now I am way behind schedule 😭 I actually notice the 2Fort similarities while editing! I don't know how I didn't catch it at the time, but watching the footage made me go "hey, wait a minute ...!"
@@erikhawkke4861 the Gatling gun is kinda like the Minigun where the name has become generic, but is actually specifically the name of one particular gun. It was the first rotary machine gun though, so it does seem a lot more appropriate to call that whole class of weapons Gatling guns rather than Miniguns, and it's definitely more appropriate than "chain guns!"
