I recently bought this bag at the Milano flagship store. The sales associate told me that BV plans for this bag to be their equivalent of a Kelly from Hermes and they have already started to slowly restrict stock. The fondant and travertine colours are sold out on most sites now too. I think the simplicity of it helps in making it a timeless piece on any collection.
I tried it on in store yesterday, in medium size. The woven structure is actually gorgeous in person, and it seems like a very functional bag. Straps were a bit stiff, but not in a way that would hinder its practicality (at least the one I briefly tried on).
Just came across this video. I’ve owned the large for an about a month now and use it as a work bag. The way this leather breaks in is incredible. It really becomes a malleable tote bag that is a work horse. I pack my computers and all my tech accessories in it everyday and haul it around and it’s fantastic. I never had to worry about being able to fit everything in the large for a day of traveling around.
Hey Jordan - just came across your comment and I was about to buy the large size for work. Wondering how you’re liking the bag now and whether you find that the straps are comfortable holding all the weight of your laptop etc.?
@@jenniferxie6055 I have the large bag and use it for everything you've described! It's honestly really great. I just made a review of it on my channel too. If you're still trying to decide, it should help!
I bought two designer bags last year. One from Herme and one from BV. I have be really really honest and huts me two say that, I love the BV better. It’s so care free and durable above excellent quality. So I will buy a BV again anytime!
Thank you for keeping us up to date, as always! I saw this bag on RM a few months ago and thought the large size was sooo cute - maybe not for 7k+ though 😭 hope you’re having a good week Cassie! 😊
Great video as always! The Andiamo is growing on me more than the Sardine. But I'm saving my coins for the LV small mirror looking clutch bag from the Pharell's first Men's show hehe 😍
The bag seems like a perfect go to the store or to lunch bag! I need to see the large in person. The large. Ignition be perfect for work! Thank you for the video!❤
if the strap isn't terribly stiff, I'd definitely buy it not because it's an "IT" bag, but because I love the brand, I have always liked the intrecciato design, and Bottega's quality is truly one of the best
I had a woven leather bag similar to this from Banana Republic in 2005 in a dark chocolate color. It should still be around here somewhere. Need to get that out!!
I have the Garda bag which is very similar. I love it in its simplicity and versatility, can be used handheld or as a shoulder bag. Beautiful bag and great quality. Had it for 4 years and does start to show a little tear on corners. But I think that is inevitable for the soft and delicate leather.
I had the Garda bag for many years and used it for work (it carries my laptop at times) so you can imagine the amount of abuse it gets but when I was ready to sell them, they sold at pristine condition! 😂
Love this bag! It is really easy going and easy to use it day or night. I have it in size S in the color fondant. I wear a lot of black so the dark brown is a really nice mild pop against the black. in general I love Blazy’s work at bottega.
I have the medium in color-fennel gold. The straps are very stiff at first but will loosen up overtime. The bright green color attracts lots of compliments 😊glad I got it I heard this color is hard to find now.
I personally love this bag. I reluctantly land more into the quiet luxury group because I do wear more muted colors due to OCD. But I would t mind that east-west lavender one. 💜

I love Bottega's intrecciato weave and have older bags in it. But, as for the really big Andiamo bag in intrecciato weave and not being lined in suede like older bags (Roma), I wouldn't chance it. I can imagine a lot of wear and tear on the intrecciato weave. I think that all of my older Bottega intrecciato weave bags are lined in suede except for one which is an old school (men's) small, crossbody camera bag style, but which I've used as a women's bag. The price of intrecciato weave has skyrocketed to ridiculous prices. Greetings from Los Angeles
I am over trend bags. Could careless about picking this bag up as many of these celebs are gifted these items. For the price, it's boring. I am not interested in shouty pieces but there are far better bags for less. I am not interested in accumulated shelf pieces and will be moving away from bags in general. I feel like the consumer has lost control of the market and the producer holds all the cards in their overpriced card holder. Side note: I love you shirt Cassie! Wishing everyone a financial good day.
I will never pay thousands of dollars for a bag that does not have a zipper. I literally carry thousands in electronics with me while I travel and Borseggiare would have a field day😂😂.
I feel like trends are created by paying or gifting influencers and celebrities into wearing the bag and talking about the bag on utube and Instagram. a Kardashian’s doesn’t do anything for free
Hey! Cassie I really really addicted to your daily videos and I love your videos a lot you inspired me a lot and I wish you have a wonderful day always 😭💗💫
My old Bottega garda bag is very similar but I find the andiamo bag even better as my old garda didn’t have a top handle so it’s hard to take things out of the garda when the straps are pulling it tight while you carry it at the same time. The top handle would have solve that problem by letting me carry the handle and loosen the strap to get the things I want from the bag.

i personally own the andiamo and i find it a very easy bag to use. but you’re definitely right about the braided strap being very stiff - what i personally do is twirl it and hoop it through the top handle for a neater look one con is that while trying to adjust the shoulder strap into a crossbody, the braided strap does dig into the leather-wrapped hoops and through daily use, the leather around them can be torn - which is what happened to mine

Cassie - as always, you are a joy to watch! I have been seeing this bag so much and I feel like I should like it. I’m kind of the target demographic, I’m into timeless functional bags but… I don’t like it. Am I a horrible person with no taste ?!? 😂 There’s something about it that feels dated for me. I love this bag and only learned about it from following your channel 😂. So kudos. It’s more affordable than a birkin even at its largest available size and going to be a timeless piece regardless. Good investment info.
Bottega is clearly gearing back to pre-Daniel Lee era (or I should rightfully call it the Tomas Maier era). That means subtler, slouchier, more boho and yet overall different from any other brands and still functional products. Reissuing Maier classics like the Knot clutch and Cabat tote signals that direction too, which I personally welcome. I hope they carry on and bring back more interesting craftmanship too. People tend to think Maier era of Bottega was just some boring, old-lady designs. In actuality, they tried everything - mix of different leathers and materials, beading, applique, embroidery, different variations of their signature interacciato, various painting and dyeing techniques... you name it, and they tired them already. I hope to see something genuinely interesting and luxurious, not just boom, whack, shock and pop.
Wasn’t much of a huge fan of the original but my SA sent me that purple east west Andiamo and I’m in love!! ❤❤❤ that being said I have my eye on another bag next so it likely won’t be this that I pick up next, if ever.
I really like the way the medium version of this bag looks in pictures. I haven’t seen it in person to form a complete opinion of it yet. I strongly doubt a Jenner/Kardashian would publicly comment on something (other than Hermes) they hadn’t at the very least been gifted, she may genuinely like the bag, but I doubt she had to pay for it.
Was at the Milan store this week and the SA mentioned there’s going to be a price increase soon for the Andiamo prob in mid Nov. So whoever wanna get this bag, get it now! I got it in Small :)
Great video as always! I’ve been thinking of buying this bag. Btw… is your Acne shirt the aqua blue one that’s currently in the site? Trying to figure out what size to get!
I tried the bag in the boutique, i really like it! However, a huge issue is the long strap 🥲 not fun at all.. it will stay hanging there unless you tied it 😂😂 .. btw the knot it has a clasp and you can remove the long strap totally and carry it with the handle only .. im waiting for them to find a better way for the strap lol
Let us not forget that Bottega named Kim Namjoon (RM) from BTS a brand ambassador. That will also drive sales and not just for a younger crowd since BTS’s popularity spans many generations.
First off, LOVE your shirt! You’re looking lovely. But the bag, I’m not sure. Well, yes, I am. I thought it was pretty in the editorial pictures, but when you showed the Bethany F review insert, it looked all pushed in on the sides, and the crossbody function wasn’t good. I’ll admit I can be influenced by “celebrities” when it comes to fashion, but happily my bank account cannot. It’s too much money for a bag with drawbacks. I was thinking, it might be a good second hand but grand purchase once someone else has broken in the leather and softened it up. ❤
Another point about celebrity endorsements/sightings is that they drive media coverage and media coverage absolutely influences people even if they don't care about the specific celebrities that generated the media coverage.
I was drawn to the Andiamo bag immediately, something about the estethics. But have decided not to buy as I have two older Bottega Veneta bags that have a lot of the same dimensions and look. I must have been early on the «quiet luxury» trend as these goes wayyyhayyyhayy back. If you knew you knew. They are holding up great though. Love your blue shirt🤗. It’s a «me» color.
The stiff leather strap would dig into your arm or shoulder, especially in larger (and heavier) sizes. Otherwise I don't actually mind a functional bag 😅
i personally feel like if ur going for investment like kylie said, this is a great second or third bag to get! but, i definitely think that there is a bag such like the “side trunk” that’s more under the radar and could become just as popular…
Cassie, I was feeling nostalgic and missing phoebe philo celine era…and got myself a tote that is so comfortable! Never would i thought i would be enjoying my seau sangle. The thing with BBE, its in the strap to make it practical. Unless its truly just half full bag and dig into the shoulder too much 😅 as always, enjoy your content ❤ much love Edit: celine will be phasing out the design and will not produce it anymore. Holding on to 1 for memory and fan girling phase.
I didn’t like it…until I saw the East/West version 🤦🏻♀️ although, the colors don’t bring me in that they currently offer (white, chocolate and dark lilac). Now, Travertine could sway me.
I do think one selling point to BV is that they are selling a quality item at a price in reach. I think with the failing quality in LV and also the out of reach prices of chanel, we are all kind of looking towards other brands.
She’s a nice bag, but I don’t feel called to take one home 😂 the weave feels a bit boho to me, which doesn’t fit my wardrobe at all. I love a statement bag/coat/shoe/skirt (usually in one outfit) so I’ll stick to collecting all of the bejeweled Pradas I can afford 😊💖

The thing with BBE, its in the strap to make it practical. Unless its truly just half full bag and dig into the shoulder too much 😅 as always, enjoy your content ❤ much love
Edit: celine will be phasing out the design and will not produce it anymore. Holding on to 1 for memory and fan girling phase.
You’re right! The strap means everything on a BBE!! 💖
My favourite is the east/west. I am 5”4 & the large one would just be too clunky for me.
I hear you 🙌🏽
Thanks for keeping us updated with the new “It” bags! I love BV, but this bag is not for me! ❤
I didn't know until today I needed "bury a body" bag... 😅
Sticker shock definitely pushes me out of it.
I still missing the "it" bag from this brand... I am still searching🧐, and the east west style might be the ONE.. 🙂
I’m with you Cassie, this bag is not giving me much for $5,000. No wow factor👎🏻IDC who’s carrying it lol
I miss parakeet green!
I like it
She’s a nice bag, but I don’t feel called to take one home 😂 the weave feels a bit boho to me, which doesn’t fit my wardrobe at all. I love a statement bag/coat/shoe/skirt (usually in one outfit) so I’ll stick to collecting all of the bejeweled Pradas I can afford 😊💖
