I've actually been comparing mine on paper to Changing Constance (Penhaligon's) of which I have a sample and there are definite similarities, mostly in the drydown. The Penhaligons is such an awful performer despite being really lovely. I might update after the Mughal Fort has had a chance to sit for a while.
@sueseverin1871 so glad you have this! I have never smelled the Penhaligons one. Would Love to hear the update on your thoughts. The Mughal Fort is a phenomenal performer.
@@MissKaren3 Yes it is a great performer, which is one of the big differences. Changing Constance is so very soft it's barely there. OK so now I've had MF for 3 weeks and Changing Constance is far smoother from the opening. Mughal Fort has more cardamom in the opening and projects further. Anyone saying there's no similarity between the two is wrong, it is strongly reminiscent of Changing Constance though less refined - more of a twist, and a good one. The further into the drydown the more similar it gets. I would say 80 - 85% similarit. I absolutely would not buy the Penhaligons' at $495 AUD ($728 USD) and think the Lattafa is a really worthy alternative.
@sueseverin1871 Thanks for the feedback. The experience you had is exactly why I got into Middle Eastern perfumes. While the expensive designer perfumes have some great scents the longevity can oftentimes be lacking. I want to tell my perfume when I want to stop smelling it, not for it to tell me I can't smell it anymore. LOL
I tried Mughal Fort based on your recommendation, and I love it! Thanks for providing such a good description. It's spot on! And Lucy is really cute :)
@hellofellows1 You just might be in luck! There is no patchouli or ambergris in this. While I would say this is a spicy/fresh, there is Cedarwood in the heart notes which could constitute a woody. This is really high quality and very long lasting. It is absolutely one of my favorite Lattafa's. I highly recommend. The people that I know that have it really love it too. I have not heard anyone say anything negative about it's so I would say that is a safe blind buy. If you get it let me know what you think
Nice review new sub here, I was so impressed with the lattafa prides. I just had to have these bottles. Thanks for the review there's not many on these emarati scents.🎉
Thanks for subscribing! The Prides are great but the quality of the emirati ones are exceptional. Yes, I have been surprised that these haven't caught on yet. They are so good
Hi! Thanks for watching! I think I got this one from intense oud, but it was a while back so I don't know if they still have it. I just checked Amazon and they have it in stock for a pretty good price.
@@MissKaren3Definitely a piece of art, I enjoy the new fragrances and how artsy they have gotten. Thanks so much for your reviews 😊 making a list hehe.
I have not smelled Love don't be Shy, but just looked up the notes. Looks like there are 5 mid notes that are all floral. There are no floral notes in Mughal Fort. I haven't smelled anything that could be perceived as floral either. Also looks like there is a sugar note in the base of LDBS which is not present here. Hope that helps.
@kimberlysweet1770 I got mine from Intense Oud. Not sure if they have it right now. If you get from Joma shop just make sure to check the shipping. Sometimes they don't ship out for a week or two
There are no floral notes listed. The base is vanilla, musk and Amber which is a pretty common base for a perfume. I think the pimento sets it apart so I don't know anything that it smells like. I can tell you that the ingredients are high-quality though
I’ve just been introduced to Lattafa and middle eastern fragrances and i’ve been watching your videos. I enjoy watching them.
Thanks for watching! So happy you are enjoying

I am looking for a spicy, woody, feminine fragrance that doesn't have patchouli or ambergris. Is this it?

Thank you for this video. I’m about to get it. Sounds interesting. Like you I’m disappointed about todays perfumes that doesn’t last.
You are very welcome! This is my favorite one from the Lattafa Niche Emirati line so far. It really is exceptional. Thanks for watching!
@@MissKaren3 Nice to know. Liking your videos a lot. See you on the next one.
This this is a twist of Penhaligon's Changing Constance and FDB Minuit Et Demi.
Good to know. Thanks for watching!

Where did you purchase from please. I cannot find this particular bottle anywhere.

If I find this I might get that for my sister, her birthday is on New Year 31st. Thank you
I hope you find it. Thanks for watching
Ouuuu this bottle looks so amazing
The bottle is like a little piece of art. It is super nice. Thanks for watching!

@@MRJLS15 So much fun to get these! Thanks for watching
😂😂 yes exactly the reason I want to be here.
I heard this a dupe of Love Don't be Shy? Really want to buy it but want to make sure the notes are correct!

This smells nothing like LDBS, not even remotely close. Its a gorgeous fragrance, though.
@@jenmann1990Agreed! This smells amazing but does not smells like LDBS.
Does it have any florals?? Does it smell like any other perfumes in the market whether Middle Eastern or French perfumes ?
