It's p cool seeing how Shredder goes from not caring at all about the turtles to becoming absolutely obsessed with destroying them. Really makes him feel like a living character who is always doing something in the background, and exists outside of just his interactions with the turtles.
That's what happens in every iteration, he meets them at some point at the start and becomes obsessed with them, and of course it ends up biting him in the ass.

True. Because before this episode both Splinter and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to the Utrom Shredder were more like annoying pests rather than archenemies. And in the Turtles Forever he clearly hates them even more than ever (as he was willing to destroy not only 2003 turtles, but also all of the other versions of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). I wish that there would be a crossover between 2012 and 2003, since the 2012 TMNT are already have a crossover with the 1987, but not with the 2003 (especially when Utrom Shredder somehow survived and return).

"We come in peace!"
"But you will leave in PIECES!"
God damn that's cold.
Ch’rell is such an evil badass. He’s the best Shredder incarnation of the TMNT series. His only redeeming quality is that his bond with Karai seemed to be built out of genuine affection rather than fear. There are several hints that he does love Karai - Obviously first one is that he trained her, showing his somewhat caring side rather than truly seeing potential in her being his heir.
Trusted her with his Utrom identity.
Trusted her with ruling the Foot in Japan.
Trusted and heeded her advice, and trusted her skills in ending the war and caring for him as he recovered after the TCRI building explosion.
Never punished her for her failures, even when she failed to kill the Turtles after he ordered her to do so.
Showing anger at Stockman and Hun for lying about her death.
Sending Hun after her and showing legitimate concern for her capture and expressing rage at Hun’s supposed lack of care for Karai’s capture and lack of desire to do something about it. This point can be debunked by saying he should have gone to Bishop’s base himself, as fans would say, yes but it’s better than nothing and Hun was his second best soldier, Karai was supposedly his most skilled. There is a reason Hun envied her.
Expressed complete trust in Karai’s ability to manage his businesses while he is away. His words later while asking Karai to remain loyal and obedient as she always had been shows that he has complete faith in her. Even though I disagree with his actions at the starship which includes hitting Karai after she defended Leonardo, it seems that Ch’rell was greatly shocked by the fact she defended his enemies, and this shows that he had complete faith in her. He felt disrespected and insulted by his daughter who he believed in. Karai is justified with her actions but I think Ch’rell’s reaction is noteworthy.
Also, forgave her betrayal and trusted her with handling the Technodrone’s redevelopment and confided her with his plan.
Also, he was shocked of her siding with the Turtles and was seemingly saddened by Karai begging him to stop with his revenge. Notice how when Karai pleads with him that she doesn’t want to lose him again Ch’rell looks at her, and is later skeptic and even seemed sad showing that he genuinely cared about her but his hatred for the Turtles exceeded his love for Karai. Honestly I may be wrong that Ch’rell loved Karai, but considering their unique bond, it may be possible.
In the end, his "love" for Karai was a tactic he used to gain edges in his agenda. Karai and all his minions, in the end, were all just means to ends.
@@mphlohi I don’t know. There were a few exceptions which hints at a different level of view when it comes to Karai. Shredder could have also placed his cybernetic engram as leader of the Foot but he placed his trust in Karai instead. He raised her and trusted her unconditionally.

Sure Thanos whiped half of Universe but he only wanted to balance world and make it better in his own view and even cared for Gamora despite sacraficing her on Vormir, plus he spares his opponents and only kills when necessary, as well as apologizing to Nebula for all abuse he did
Shredder on other hand is ruthless, emotionless, punishes Stockman mercilessly by cutting him in pieces, even atacked other planets, let’s not forget how in Turtles Forever he tried to destroy Multiverse
Yep the guy didn’t even care if he got destroyed along with the multi-verse if it meant the turtles were destroyed as well
I mean that goes without saying. MCU Thanos isn't as deep as people think he is.
Thanos acting like modern Bowser or maybe modern Eggman. This Shredder is best created way than 1987 and 2012 Shredder
would it be a good part that he became such an evil ch rell and that he got that wound on his eyes?
Honestly Utrom Shredder felt less like an imposter and more like a successor to the real Demon Shredder, both wish for world domination, both are incredibly formidable in their own right, and both have the same philosophy. If anything Karai felt more like an imposter to the Shredder because she didn't have that same level of fierceness and ambition that both shredders have when they appear on screen.
One might even say that Utrom Shredder was the reincarnation of the Demon Shredder in an alien body.
Without a doubt one of the greatest cartoons ever made and this version of the shredder is without a doubt the best version
