Clearly a 26 Passport, but I appreciate any video/ talk about the hopefully upcoming mini FJ. Im very interested in a smaller Land Cruiser......hopefully it happens.
a hybrid element would be amazing. The last element came too soon and never had a chance to be a hybrid. It's also not hard to make the Element NOT ugly.
I think that’s the new Honda passport not the mini Land Cruiser especially if you compare the teaser front grill image Honda put out of it to the front grill of the leaked pictures
Mini land cruiser mixed with Honda element. Multiple drive train options for true off-road capabilities. Rock crawlers, skid plates, front & rear differential locks, bare minimum.
Definitely the 26 Passport on TFL they got a brief glimpse of the inside. It was a Honda infotainment and you can see the current Honda steering wheel. Not to mention the DRL match the teaser. With the Trailsport Edition, I’m sure they are testing its off road capability before debuting the new Passport.
No one would take them seriously. I have never heard anyone give the ridgeline credit in the south EVER. They have no history or brand to back it up. But they should bring back the element because that was the closest thing they had
Overhang is too short to be the passport. But what would have the same front end as the new passport, but a boxier rear shape, and very short overhangs, that has been rumored to be coming back? The Element!
I think it is the new Honda Passport, especially with the reveal around the corner and it has yellow repeaters styled in that shape. If this isn't it my second guess would be the Scout VW product. Otherwise, it is safe to say it could be the new Jeep product, Renegade EV given it is surrounded by other Jeeps.
Amber running lights design is a 100% match to Honda’s own teaser image for the 2026 Passport. Still interesting for sure though but definitely much larger than what I’ve been hoping for in something like a mini FJ.
The headlights are similar shape but the camouflage vehicles are amber, not quite as far in and wider themselves. Yes they both have a skid plates but they’re not the same either. I don’t think it is a baby Toyota.
I hope that it lives up to the hype and it’s not a Ford Escape/Bronco Sport and it’s actually capable and rugged to get far off road not just light off road trail that a Pathfinder can take on easily.
Those DRL’s remind of Jeep DRL’s how the bottom one turns up slightly. Also, Toyota hasn’t put tow hooks that easily accessible on any truck/suv. Not sure though, could be anyone’s guess.
I'd rather have a basic FJ with a good old Toyota 4 cylinder NA coming in at $30k based on the old Tacoma platform, rather than a dumbed down 4Runner at $45k based on the current platform, because we know the new 4Runner will be in $50k territory on the lots if not higher.
Nothing mentioned about here in Japan at the moment. It had been mentioned that a new FJ cruiser or mini cruiser was in thrl works. So until I get concrete evidence that a new fj will be released, his video is nothing more than speculation at this time. If and when it really is going to be released I will let everyone know via my channel.
Toyota and Honda don't typically do off-road testing on crossovers like that not that I have ever seen . That style of testing is more of a domestic brand thing . Jeep or ford makes more sense.
It’s looks rather small to be the passport, when you compare the size against that utv. But the headlights do appear to be the ones in the teaser. On the other hand the skid plate and wheels don’t look Honda to me
Probably gonna cost 100k and will come with a hybrid or turbo over-complicated engine. Hopefully, it won't be an E-CVT. Yeah, I know those transmissions are relliable compared to regular CVT's but are also impossible to repair if they happen to go bad because there are no parts available for them.
if the company is using camouflage , I mean the zbra style Camou , you can 100% tell what this car is . But as for this one, nothing, you can't even see the outline, it's probobly still in prototype stage.
If this isn't the new Honda Passport, it's like the next RAV4, but doubtful. Not enough clearance for the Land Cruiser FJ! The wheelbase is too long. Close, but no cigar!
That’s the new Honda Passport for 2026.
my thoughts as well. That was my first thought with the amber lights
Yep….TFL reported on this as the Passport redo.
I think this is the new Honda Passport 🤭 I saw this on TFL
I agree. The light pattern looks like the new Passport.
@@oldshowfanatic77 It also has the 4 air intake gaps with a Honda badge size bump in the middle like the passport teaser.
It’s a taster. Honda element. Ha.
what the… honda copy everybody right now.
Looks like a new Jeep Compass with Bronco Sport rims. Definitely not a Toyota.
Clearly a 26 Passport, but I appreciate any video/ talk about the hopefully upcoming mini FJ. Im very interested in a smaller Land Cruiser......hopefully it happens.
That’s the new Honda Passport!
The daytime running lights are clearly the same as the honda passport teaser
Kirk: “What could this be if it’s not the baby Land Cruiser???”
Everyone in the comments: “A Honda Passport...”
Kirk, One way or another, we should know about the Land Cruiser FJ by the end of the year. 🤞🤞
It’s a new Honda passport.
a hybrid element would be amazing. The last element came too soon and never had a chance to be a hybrid. It's also not hard to make the Element NOT ugly.

It’s looks like it’s gonna be the reliable version of the Santa Fe
It’s a Honda Passport
Honda ELEMENT ❤🎉🎉🎉
I believe it is
I would LOVE to see another FJ Crusier! One of Toyotas all time best vehicles.
Thats the new Passport.
It has the front end of the new honda passport
Mini land cruiser mixed with Honda element. Multiple drive train options for true off-road capabilities. Rock crawlers, skid plates, front & rear differential locks, bare minimum.
2026 Honda Passport @Kirk
Definitely the 26 Passport on TFL they got a brief glimpse of the inside. It was a Honda infotainment and you can see the current Honda steering wheel. Not to mention the DRL match the teaser. With the Trailsport Edition, I’m sure they are testing its off road capability before debuting the new Passport.
Honda should make a Land Cruiser competitor.
No one would take them seriously. I have never heard anyone give the ridgeline credit in the south EVER. They have no history or brand to back it up. But they should bring back the element because that was the closest thing they had
That’s basically bringing back the element but making it more rugged
Honda should make a wagon, why compete when you can be on your own.
Isn't this the 2026 Honda Passport ??
Overhang is too short to be the passport. But what would have the same front end as the new passport, but a boxier rear shape, and very short overhangs, that has been rumored to be coming back? The Element!
I believe you are correct sir, and how often do you see a car tested under a full car cover?
It’s a Honda Passport
Yes, this is the honda passport and not a Toyota.
Wouldn't it be great if it was a small pick-up cameo'd to look like an suv/crossover?
I think it is the new Honda Passport, especially with the reveal around the corner and it has yellow repeaters styled in that shape. If this isn't it my second guess would be the Scout VW product. Otherwise, it is safe to say it could be the new Jeep product, Renegade EV given it is surrounded by other Jeeps.
Missed the FJ cruiser, would give this one a serious look, prefer the older one still
Isnt this honda passport?
Yes it is
Amber running lights design is a 100% match to Honda’s own teaser image for the 2026 Passport. Still interesting for sure though but definitely much larger than what I’ve been hoping for in something like a mini FJ.
Hope this comes out man. Really hope it is reliable and built in Japan.
The mini Land Cruiser would be a knockout in our Market
Could be a new Honda element.
I believe your right.
Still want a baby LC to come, but this ain't in :( Honda Passport sadly.
Kirk had me with the bait n switch. 😂 Just video as always.
The headlights are similar shape but the camouflage vehicles are amber, not quite as far in and wider themselves. Yes they both have a skid plates but they’re not the same either.
I don’t think it is a baby Toyota.
Yeah, I agree it’s a Passport. Cool.😎
Could also be the new subaru outback. I heard it's now boxy and doesn't look like wagon anymore.
With a jeep support vehicle, I’d say it’s a type of jeep.
New Jeep Cherokee (not GC).
Honda going gangsta in that pilot
plot twist: its suzuki coming back to the market with the jimny
For an idea of what the Cruiser FJ would look like check out the Jeep Renegade.
Thank god its the passport. I hope the Landcruiser Mini looks better :)
I want round headlights just like the FJ Cruiser
I hope that it lives up to the hype and it’s not a Ford Escape/Bronco Sport and it’s actually capable and rugged to get far off road not just light off road trail that a Pathfinder can take on easily.
Your first clue is at time frame 1:39 Look on the front door of the Jeep Gladiator, Element
Those DRL’s remind of Jeep DRL’s how the bottom one turns up slightly. Also, Toyota hasn’t put tow hooks that easily accessible on any truck/suv. Not sure though, could be anyone’s guess.
the baby land cruiser looks like what the Rav4 used to be.
It’s the passport. It was shown by tfl days ago
We need that little small pickup truck with the 2.5 hybrid standard all-wheel drive with the same 240 horsepower as the crown signia thats it
does it come with bumpstops?
I'd rather have a basic FJ with a good old Toyota 4 cylinder NA coming in at $30k based on the old Tacoma platform, rather than a dumbed down 4Runner at $45k based on the current platform, because we know the new 4Runner will be in $50k territory on the lots if not higher.
Lights reminds me of the Bronco Sport and grill looks Jeep-esque
Toyota: We will take over the Jimny clients...
Toyota 2025: Our smallest one will be sold for 90.000 😂
Car and driver posted pics of upcoming Scout Traveler & Headlights Looks Scout Traveler!
I’d be very interested in a mini land cruiser with a gas engine and automatic transmission. I currently drive a 2005 Suzuki Grand Vitara.
2 door .off road mode..mini jeep modelini bekliyoruz toyota cılar...❤❤
New Honda Passport. TFL had this on their channel
"That's the new Passport"
Boy if some of you folks would actually finish watching the video...
Looks like a Jeep compass
that’s the new honda passport
Any new FJ Cruiser needs to have the Hilux Champ body work on a shortened J250 chassis
Could this be pickup based on Corolla, the roof appear not to be solid and flat and smooth.
Dear Kirk i am in europe any infos if it will be available here too?
Everyone is so thirsty to comment and be right 🤓 instead of watching the full video lol
That's the passport lmao 🤣
Toyota and Honda don't typically do off-road testing on crossovers like that not that I have ever seen . That style of testing is more of a domestic brand thing . Jeep or ford makes more sense.
Could it be the return of the Honda Element?
It’s looks rather small to be the passport, when you compare the size against that utv. But the headlights do appear to be the ones in the teaser. On the other hand the skid plate and wheels don’t look Honda to me
Probably dual cylinder Briggs&Straton quad turbo
Wonder if it'll be similar to the bronco sport
Would be cool if it was the baby LC, but I was getting refreshed Passport or Jeep vibes
That’s 2026 Honda passport
Ford Bronco
It's as if there is a car designer that's been going back and forth between Honda and Toyota

The new electric Scout
That’s the 2026 Honda Passport Trailsport. It will be on lots around second quarter of 2025.
Ridgeline?
I did't see an exhaust. It's either very-hybrid or electric.
New Element
Nope that’s a new Honda Passport
I literally smashed the like button and my wife asked “what’s wrong?”😅
😂
Bronco Sport Raptor
You all have been mislead, it's not the Honda Passport either, it's the Honda Element.
In the 80s 90s these type of cars weee all over the place
Needs removable roof though
Element coming back
it'll probably have the 3 cylinder turbo
yeah this ended up being the new Honda Passport 2026
I hope Not! I have a 2013 trail teams fj, it’s Awesome! They need to do something really special, to Upgrade this perfect off roader!
Judging by the trend, if this is real, it would have the tiny 3 cylinder quadruple turbocharged
Can’t wait. 0:25
So hoping you’re right about it being the next Passport…. and that Honda doesn’t muck it up with a turbo 4.
Hmm. Make it at Subaru, co-brand it as a brat to keep costs low... It does look more Honda tho.
Gotta come in in the high 20s
Guys... WATCH THE WHOLE VIDEO FIRST BEFORE YOU COMMENT!
Wow this comment section is jacked up lol folks didn’t watch the video to the point of your introduction of the actual vehicle. I blame the thumbnail.
Hilux Champ by stealth😅
If this isn't the new Honda Passport, it's like the next RAV4, but doubtful. Not enough clearance for the Land Cruiser FJ! The wheelbase is too long. Close, but no cigar!
it's Honda Passport
They can call it what they want, but it will never be an FJ without the FJ grille.
What you are looking at is 2025 Xb on steroids 🥶🤗
