I truly appreciate it when you play Gospel and Gospel Bluegrass Songs. When time passes and all our Posts and Videos have played, these are the ones with Eternal Value. Thank you again.

Thank you for putting this Video on youtube. Someone had it on here once and removed it. Jerry & Tammy Sullivan(Father/Daughter) now have went on to Eternity. In my opinion, the greatest Bluegrass Gospel singers.
They were from Alabama, and so is Kenny Lovelace the man sitting on the hay bale right of them listening. Kenny, was the right-hand-man (55 years)of the late Jerry Lee Lewis, who was supposed to be on this episode, too, but sadly cancelled to being ill. Kenny played "Fiddle" on this episode with Marty Stuart on Marty's song-"Rough Around the Edges". Kenny played Lead Electric Guitar and Fiddle for Jerry Lee Lewis. R.I.P. Killer.

Years ago, I would attend Bluegrass Festivals and see Enoch and Margie Sullivan perform. Is Jerry relation to them? Love both groups.

Yes, Jerry is related to them. He was in their band for decades.

@@tinman8518 And Marty Stuart played with Enoch and Margie before he joined Lester Flatts Nashville Grass Band. Marty hooked up with Jerry and Tammy Sullivan in the early 1990s and produced some of their Albums CDs. He brought them to Nashville and they performed 2 songs,1 with Bill Monroe and 1 with Hal Ketchum on the CBS TV Special of the 100th anniversary of the Ryman Auditorium in 1996.

@@glencoe6305 Very interesting! Thanks for the information. When I think of the Sullivans I think of Margie's incredible, raw, powerful, talented voice. When they were singing, you knew it was from hearts of faith.

They are from Wagarville Al. Are you from Sullivan's Hollow in Mississippi? They both have passed away.
