Reading challenge complete in the first minute and 20 seconds
ABSOLUTE BOSS
I thought I must have missed that day 1 was Sunday, but never mind, you’re just in Australia 😁
I was freaking out too lol
Love your little swing chair! It looks so peaceful with all the birds singing!
It really is! My new favourite reading spot for sure :)
I'd forgotten about Deltora Quest!!! I loved that series (both the books and the TV show). Wow that was a massive part of my childhood.
I loved the story segment in this vlog 🥰 I think that’d be a good idea for youtubers to connect to their subscribers, just at the end of a video, spending 5 minutes telling an interesting or funny story from their past. 😇✨
Thank you! And I honestly love that idea, it was so nice to share such a fond personal memory :D I'd love to hear more stories from my favourite creators!
FLOPPY DISCS!!
oooOooOHHhh man that blast from the past really transported me there
I hope you love the city we became as much as I did last week!! Look out because there is a brief section where they mention Sydney! It’s really brief but I still got really excited 😆
Anything Elizabeth Acevedo writes is golden. I loved Such a Fun Age and the Sun is Also a Star. And woah, I'm reading The City We Became as well!!
just found your channel and omg i chose The Sun Is Also a Star for the same exact prompt and i'm hoping to watch the movie soon
I loved your story about your early writing. It reminded me of my own experiences! I also saved stories on floppy disks and "accidentally" copied stories from authors I loved.
That lemon tart looks amazing!
I love your style of vlogging so much!!!! I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this video!!
I looooooove the avatar the last air bender!!!!!!!
I've replayed 5:14 multiple times now because what a tune
So sorry about the book falling apart but wow it makes beautiful music
Can I just say...so happy to see you on my feed again
I wish I had a nice outside deck area like that! Mine is all open so I feel like all of my neighbors would be able to snoop on me 🤣
I love the mug you use at the beginning 😍
I'm also reading The Sun is Also a Star for the reading rush
Omg Emily Rodda was my entry into reading as a kid! The Deltora series blew me away at that age.
My Reading Rush Day 1 is just starting and then I get the notification that Caz has already upload a vlog...I guess...I guess I’ll just watch this real quick before I pick up my book 😂
It will totally motivate, right? Procrastination is productive, right? Hehe but good luck with your reading! YOU GOT THIS!
@@littlebookowl “procrastination is productive” should be on t-shirt
It was such a lovely reading vlog! The bookish stories you shared were so cute! I'm looking forward to the upcoming vlogs 💜
Thank you! It was really nice to take a trip down memory lane :D
@@littlebookowl ☺️💜
Legitimately assumed I'd somehow confused the dates and I panicked 😂 only to remember you're in a different time zone 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
Hehe the future is NOW (in Australia).
Wow those bookshelves, i think we need an update 😍🥰❤️
Ohhhh yes - I'm hoping to re-organise (and film the process) then will work on a bookshelf tour! It's been many years hasn't it? :D
Damn I want that lemon tart
your editing is sooo satisfying :)
Love these reading vlogs. Makes me want to read with you!
Heyy Caas😘 ..plz can u film a vd about Ur struggles in reading .Nd tell me!! have u ever thought of giving Ur room a makeover ..I realllllly want u to do it and film it omg it.s gonna be so amusing 😍😍😍
I was so thrown off when the endcard came up and it was different music! lolol I had looked away and immediately looked right back🤣
OH MY GOSH im watching this vid very late but i just had to comment bc i swear i had the EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE of loving rowan of rin (emily rodda was my literal world in primary school) and writing my own carbon copy of it (although handwritten not typed), also when i was like 9 or 10... really need to see if i still have it somewhere haha but must be something about her stories that gets the creativity flowing!!!
Lol my immediate thought upon seeing the broken book was GIMME I'LL FIX. But that is my default when I see something break with friends or family lol. but I suppose it's not that difficult.. just please dont use tape haha.
As for the book stories, it is funny because I have a very similar one. When i was really tiny there was a story i consumed somehow (i cant remember whether it was a book or a movie or something) and immediately upon finishing it, I sat down and replicated the whole story by hand on paper. I was so proud of that thing and I would show it off to everyone as my book ...but it was entirely a replication of the other story. I genuinely cant remember what it was about or what the story was but i strongly remember writing it lol. Tiny meg was a sassy one.
Soo when will you share a video for the recipe and cook a long for that mouthwatering lemon tart!!
❤ it.
Omgomgomg the tea cup is everything!
RIGHT? It's my absolute favourite!!
I LEGIT FORGOT IT STARTS TODAY I MISSED ONE FULL DAY OML
Wow you ticked off so many challenges in one day!
I had to pause the video for a second so I wouldn't forget to ask you where your glasses frame is from. They look really cute on you.
I loved Emily Rodda but my favourite series from her were the Teen Power Inc books
SLAYING THE GAME YESSS GO YOU
I always forget you’re a day ahead of Canada 😂 I was so confused for a second
Why do you have tennis balls on your bookshelf? Is there a wayward pup that you're hiding them from? XD You enjoying the lemon tart is so wholesome!
i'm so jealous of your breakfast!
I am so jealous of yesterday-me's breakfast.... I want moooooore!
ok it's very tragic and I'm sorry but I laughed so hard when you realized you broke the book 😅🙈
SO TRAGIC! i laughed a little too, I just thought it was hilarious I didn't even notice until editing the vlog and clearly seeing the pages separate from the cover :(
I was shocked when the old outro didn't start :- D
Good luck on the daily vlogs
thank you!!
I want lemon tart so bad right now :'))
My bday was yesterday. I ate birthday cake for breakfast 😋
I APPROVE OF THIS! Also happy belated birthday!
Lmao I ate lemon muffins for breakfast
Were did you get the mug from it is really pretty
Lovely vlog ✨ sorry about the ATLA book falling apart 😂🙆🏽♀️😭
I can’t believe your school got Emily Rodda for a visit UM OK WOW 🤓
Oh nooo your poor book!
Hey there! I want to give a CHALLENGE for you and for the whole BOOKTUBERS community:
Make a video talking about the best books you remembered reading when you were a kid, list down a couple, maybe 4 or 5, but the more the merrier!
Let's call it the #MYCHILDHOODREADS challenge!
I did mine already and I feel that this video that I made about is one of my most special videos ever and one I value most dearly. This will give us the opportunity as book tubers, to remember the most memorable moments we got when were just a kid - holding a book in our hands - basically remembering how our reading journey started.
SO, if you are IN, SHARE THIS CHALLENGE, and do NOT forget to use the # above, I am too excited and can't wait to see yours! Best of luck and happy reading
- Kind Regards, Bryan.
