Happy Friday everyone! What kind of videos would you like to see in this series? :)
Looking forward to the vids covering fly through plugins, Justin!
Thanks! Should be starting these later this week or next week!
HI Justin thx for excellent tutorials in both SketchUp and Blender.
I just finished your learn Sketchup in 30 days, great series.
And now I'm here and I wonder is there no way to visually see the path of the camera animation in Sketchup as in Blender, Maya etc? Or alter the transitions with ease-In/Out or alter the time it takes between each transition individually. I mean one camera move might be a long distance in the model and another a smaller move. Then it make no sense to me, for that smaller move to take as long as the longer one, if you get what I mean?
I'm an animator and I find these tools very limiting in Sketchup. I will have a look at Fredo's Animator next.
Always good to remember the basics. Thanks
We'll start here and then move into some more advanced stuff :)
Hello Justin, you can mention also another useful options to automatically export IMAGES of the scenes at a click of a button. Just disable the "Enable scene transitions" so this will essentially create a "video" with 7 images (in your example). However, rather than exporting the video, you export an Image Set. This will export the images as "Filename NNN.png" where NNN is a sequential number. This is particularly useful to avoid having to manually export File >> Export >> 2D Image for each scene every time you need to export the scenes as images, which would be time consuming.
This is a good tip - thanks! :)
Perhaps I'm missing it, but where is the link to the Fredo6 animator plugin?
Is there a way to export an animation and have it include the fog and shadow effects. I have the fog and shadows on for each scene, and when I export it, they never seem to appear in the video product. Am I doing something wrong, or does GS just not do this?
my graphics is due next week and I didn't know how to do a bloody fly through THANK UUUU
The free version is totally different and very limited on the scenes tab
Very good video - but it looks like the animation file export options have been reduced in Pro 2020. Any idea why?
How do u update all of your seines all at once ?
I'm not 100% sure, but I think you might be able to shift click on multiple scenes in the scene manager and hit the update button?
Is it possible to create an animation with "rendered" frames just using Sketchup?
I don't really understand the question - SketchUp doesn't have a rendering engine built in, so you can't create ANY kind of rendering just using SketchUp...
@@Thesketchupessentials I know, but if you used the V-ray extension to render the scenes, could you somehow stitch them together in an animation
@@davidwhite160 You could create scenes then just input into Windows Movie Maker (or whatever video creation software you own/use), then manipulate scenes how you like?
@@davidwhite160 the short answer is YES. Actually, you gave me a nice idea for what to do for my next short tutorial video ;)
@@davidwhite160 As promised, in my latest video I made a tutorial for exactly what you're asking. Come and check it out. Hope it helps.
is it possible for you to do a video on how to create 45-degree shadows in elevations. i know there is a plug-in but again it comes down to money.
Why wouldn't you just...turn shadows on?
Great tool to learn. Nice explaination.
Sir, are there anyways that i can create moving animation in enscape? i tried to use animator and Vray at 700x450 and 10fr/s but my systerm isn't good enough to make movie.
Only a moving camera animation - I'm not aware of a way to animate the movement of objects at the moment
use a 2nd program to speed up the video, 10fps x 3 speed = 30fps
@@huyle2057 nice idea! thanks for sharing it
Is there a way to have one setting for constant height vs. having to set that on each frame?
Not sure - maybe in the advanced camera tools extension?
great video well explained
Gem video, thank you.
😀
Great tutorial. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Good work
Thanks
You are the best broo, Thank you from Indonesia
Thanks for watching!
