    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Are you struggling to recover from anxiety and panic? You might be making a VERY common mistake that is hindering your progress. In this video, we'll explore the top mistake people make during their health anxiety recovery journey and what you can do instead.
    First off, one mistake is dwelling on the past. While it's important to acknowledge what happened, constantly reliving the event can prevent you from moving forward.
    Instead, focus on the present and acknowledge that this is where you are now and you have to work with what you have got now.
    Another mistake is trying to rush the recovery process. Recovery takes time, and trying to speed it up can actually slow it down and actually bring it to a complete halt in the long term. Give yourself the time you need and don't compare your progress to others.
    It's also common to isolate yourself during recovery, but this can lead to feelings of loneliness and depression. Instead, reach out to friends and loved ones for support.
    On the other hand, some people rely too heavily on others for their anxiety relief. While having a support system is important, you also need to take responsibility for your own progress.
    Probably the most common mistake is trying to control everything. Recovery often involves uncertainty and it's in our nature to try to mitigate that uncertainty. We strive for it and in the process we tweak our lives to get that sense of security. What can feel like help at first will often lead one down the rabbit hole, actually increasing anxiety and the sense of powerlessness. It is important to learn to accept what you can't control and focus on what you can.
    Learn from what others went through - Get inspired - learn that your anxiety symptoms aren’t as unique as you might think and that anxiety, stress and panic can really create the scariest physical symptoms imaginable!
    Once you can trust and believe that what you are experiencing mentally and physically is anxiety, that is when you will learn to accept it and lose the fear from it.
    Over time it will vanish all together.
    By avoiding these common anxiety mistakes and focusing on self-care, self-responsibility, and positive thinking, you can overcome setbacks and thrive in your recovery journey.

      @@petyabor5223 Sure, I have been struggling with anxiety for such a long time and it took me a year to recover from anxiety. I haven’t fully recovered from anxiety but it has gotten much better.
      Here are things that helped me:
      #1 *Focus On Other Things*
      Focus on other things and your goals and stop thinking about anxiety all the time. The truth is to stop watching anxiety content all the time because if you think about anxiety all the time, you will feel anxious. If you accept that its anxiety and focus on other things, I bet you will recover 80% from anxiety.
      #2 *sit with uncomfortable sensation*
      Just think about it, all the anxiety symptoms your having, did you die from it? No, so just sit with those uncomfortable feelings and sypmtoms and focus on other things.
      #3 *Distractions*
      Distract yourself by doing things like sports, video games , watching movies , studying and more.
      Anything that keeps your mind away from anxious feelings.
      *Summary:*
      Don’t think about anxiety all the time and focus on other things.

    Thank you so much! Great to hear that anxiety can be delt with. I have battled extreme anxiety off and on this past year. I wake up in the morning feeling anxiety. I was placed on meds but my anxiety became worse. I am on blood pressure medication because of fear of high blood pressure. My anxiety has caused readings as high as 160/90! So I am obsessed with taking my blood pressure daily so that triggers my fear because I get anxious while taking it at home. Now I have made a decision to stop! That is making my anxiety worse because I’m always afraid it is high!! This is madness!! But I am taking this one day at a time.

    I'm still unsure if I have anxiety or not. I don't generally feel stressed or anxious, however I did do things like constant Google searches about my health and other things bothering me. My body would start feeling strange and I would get some of the symptoms listed in other videos. Better to be cautious and take the advice from these videos so I meditate workout a lot journal and all the things recommend for recovery. There all good things to do in general anyways. Anyways if I have it or not I still enjoy watching these videos as they are very calming. You are doing an amazing service. Cheers

      KNOWING that anxiety can be the cause of the scariest symptoms is the most important step imo. Just because they feel so REAL (like the actual thing you worry about) does not mean it cannot be anxiety. At some point you need to take that leap of faith and accept that you have gotten everything checked out already and that there is nothing more you can do. Once you get to that stage, anxiety acceptance kind of becomes a thing and you will feel how slowly you can kind of live with it, you loose your fear from anxiety and then it disappears gradually.

    I've been struggling with anxiety for almost 3 weeks now, after my second panic attack that lasted for an hour and already managed to be scared of having rabies, terminal bowel disease, terminal brain disease and terminal pancreatic disease. Sometimes when my health anxiety goes away I'm worried about my future and my career. There are times when I don't have a specific reason but I'm still worried or depressed. Right now I'm having very strange headaches like very thin needle is being pushed against my head in various locations, also I have feelings of a pressure in my head or sides of my head, I'm constantly derealised which makes things absolutely worse. When I watch these videos people say that they are having panic attacks constantly and that's not the issue in my case which makes me more scared. I had one big panic attack 3 weeks ago and 3 or 4 smaller ones after that which ended in like seconds. I don't even know at this point whether they were panic attacks or something else I was sitting minding my business and suddenly I felt this heat inside my body that went away in seconds and it kept repeating many times, my heart was pounding really fast and hard, my legs got so week I was thinking I would fall and I was trembling extremally bad, I couldn't breathe and I thought I would pass out. There are days when I feel really great and don't care about anything but lasts only for hours and the next days always start with anxiety. I have no joy in my life anymore. I can't enjoy the things I used to and even became colder to my loved ones. I really hope it's just anxiety symptoms and not something serious. I'm scared to do MRI or even bloodwork since it came a bit changed the last time I did it even though the doctor told me that there's nothing serious, I probably had some kind of virus without symptoms. Please tell me if any of you can relate to some of my symptoms

      Yes, ALL THE TIME!!! My body was vibrating and thumping - I could feel and see these vibrations in my stomach. Especially when lying down my belly would just thump up and down visibly.

      Yes I get those internal vibrations too. It's weird. I know it's an anxiety symptom and just let it go but it's a strange feeling.

    Hey, thanks for all your videos.
    I have an anxiety disorder for 3 years and completely took over my life. Now I don’t get panic attacks everyday, but used to have them everyday. Now I’m dealing with constant extreme fatique. If I go for a walk I feel even worse after. My ‘battery’ is completely empty. How do I slowly take steps to feel a bit more energy, I think if I feel more physically fit that mind follows more. (I sleep good etc) hopefully I get an answer, I’m completely stuck!

    • @ImprovementPath
      @ImprovementPath  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hey Mick, I have BEEN THERE! I too had this phase of being completely drained of all energy - it was unimaginable - I dont know if you saw that video of the recovery steps but this phase was actually one of the last steps from the point where I started to fully recover. It was a sign of my body recovering. I of course cannot tell for sure that the same applies to you but for me this tiredness was followed by recovery!

    • @mick7260
      @mick7260 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ImprovementPath thank you so much for responding. Do you recommend still going for daily walks etc even if you feel worse after and slowly build? I see some say excercice etc and lift weights but my battery is 0.00001%. Even standing up gives my unconfort. Any advice on how to slowly build the energy up? I would love to excercice 6 times a week if that helped but I’m worried it will only get worse then..

      I think that is a very important first step. KNOW that anxiety can create the scariest symptoms and just because they feel so REAL (like the actual thing you worry about) does not mean it cannot be anxiety. At some point you will have to take that leap of faith man.

    • @ImprovementPath
      @ImprovementPath  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Noj, I too had most of my symptoms only on the left side - you know - I think it is because it often is the left side that we perceive as the "danger zone" most things related to the heart is the left side... so we natrually focus on that side more and also we might tense that side more. So what actually is something that affects both sides now seems like a one side thing.

    I love these vids and sharing them into the anxiety groups on Facebook
    It’s so sounds like my life. About a month ago made my dr give me a referral for a CT calcium score scan of course came back perfect zero calcium it helped for about a month now today I googled can I have a clogged artery that it couldn’t see and of course it says it is possible to have a clogged artery from something else other then calcium
    Now freaked out again 😞🤪
    Now wanting a another test
    It’s ridiculous my stuff has been going since 1995 and seems to always come back worse always effecting mainly my left side
    And just like u I didn’t wanna get up at night for me cause that’s when most people have a heart issue is middle of the night so I fight to not get up to pee
    Like right now writing this. My big toe throbs with pain on top and left leg to me feels like lack of circulation
    Last time it was bad about 6 years ago I made the dr.s scan my legs for clogged arteries nothing all clear then thought they missed it so had another place do it again
    It’s a horrible circle and recently my dr said I need Zoloft well I did try it for about 5 days made some symptoms better but so dizzy and loopy I hated it then googled the side effects of it so freaked out and quit it 😂 it’s almost funny except it freaks me out feeling like a stroke or heart issue
    Anyways thank you for the vids I’m gonna watch more of them

    • @Cheetha111
      @Cheetha111 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Don't do this please, because this cycle never stops. Just go to Cardiologist and have ecg and Echo done , just for assurance that nothing is wrong with your heart. Once cardiologist verify that you are allright, Then no need to google again and again, because this only increases anxiety levels and frequency of panic attacks. I am suffering with anxiety from more than 2 years and at the start I was going to emergency when I get a panic or anxiety attack. Drs almost did 20 ecgs and ECHO , and all were normal. Then I finally stopped googleing and now I m feeling better.
