Thank you! Growing up on boats, usually on weekends, was the best time on my life. Deep sea fishing and traveling. The marina, playing on our dinghies and making other kids and their parents all became family. My BIG dream was to go to the shootout. Now, as I am older, I would love to take my boat and be a standby and join in the fun! I know those memories, the smiles and laughter. Thank you for the post!

I highly doubt the resident fish would agree with you. Once they have the facilities that appeal to the small boat community, the "trash" from S. Florida will start to arrive and unless limit controls are put in place it will become the next Bimini, which was once a great place before overrun with weekend trash. Chub just went Private. Anyone here know why??

You can fly over and fish right off the island!
Unfortunately, we do not have accommodations for those arriving without a boat or wanting to hire fishing guides at the moment.
