1st FC Union stadium construction 4th to 28th construction day, 2008

The old stadium of the 1st FC Union is dismantled and the fans rebuild their own stadium, the Alte Försterei. A unique project, where everyone can participate, no matter if building professional or not.
50 volunteers come in every day, building standing room traverses, pouring stairs, concreting. At 7 o'clock in the morning it starts, a race against time, often until late in the evening.
The football fans give their best, a lot of handwork and wood, everything for their team "Eisern Union".
