Anyhow, with the original N64 controller this fight was a lot easier than it looks to swing around.

he has never said it in the Japanese versions of the game
in JP version he says "sayonara gei Bowseru". it's pretty cool 👍

He's called King Koopa in Japan so they used a different voice line and altered it for the international versions.

A lot of SM64 speedrunners switch to a different controller just for Bowser throws. Good luck to regular players with theirs.
I used to play this on an emulator on the computer, and I always used the arrow keys on the keyboard, and I don't remember it being especially difficult... I guess Pekora just wasn't coordinating enough anymore lol
Alcohol basically adds input lag to your brain, so that probably doesn't help
I find arrow keys to replace the joystick painful! D:
Sigh... but I was stubborn enough to at least beat the the first two Bowser forms. :p Just not sure if I'm going to beat the game, though I got close to getting all 120 stars again. :?
Sigh... I swear to God there's an invisible wall glitch somewhere in the clock tower level that makes getting the 100 coin star so hard though when I have like 114 stars, it's so unfair. >_< Sigh... I'm usually good at this particular collectathon one, most of it is pretty easy for me now. :p Not sure about the others. :?

Bowser is called King Koopa in Japan which is why Mario always said Buh-bye in the Japanese version.
I never played any Mario games when I was younger but this boss design looks pretty dumb.
