Gotta say, I love this footage!! Brings me back to my days of racing karts. Only reason I stopped was the cost. After getting championships in both classes I ran, Yamaha Superbox and Rotax Masters, I realized that spending around $35k+ over three years to get those chunks of wood with my name on them along with the reputation and bragging rights I gained, retirement was more important. Those damn karts helped to push back my retirement as I’m still working but I wouldn’t have changed a thing. There’s nothing like racing karts. Absolutely love them!!
Thank you! Yes there was lots of traffic all weekend and definitely made it difficult to make passes and keep up with the leaders. I finished 4th in this one.
Thank you young man first year for me in your class running a 2017 DR J90 with TM engine, I'll be at gratten mid june your front end is set up really well corner entry speed is better than most of the other karts ,take it easy Rob Cipria
I appreciate your input sir alot of guys especially larger teams or wealthier individuals don't want to hand out there secrets sorry but i think this makes for water down top guys running similar top lap times ,don't get me wrong there some things you keep to yourself and i shouldn't ask correct but i spent some money on this kart tuned by ckt out of saint Charles Illinois i use to race crouch rockets semi pro 750 class for a large motorcycle dealer 30 years ago speed and inertia momentum is something im very familiar with but not everyone has patience to wait i hear many stories of dummies getting discouraged quickly because of a lack of knowledge , performance and just track or class camaraderie and support i appreciate your willingness to share and support responsible newcomers to your class thank you young man Rob Cipria
@@guilianocipria5218 Thank you, has taken some time and a lot of trail and error to understant the apropriate changes to make. We had lots of help getting to where we are today, so anytime I can pass on help to newcomers, Im happy to do so. The front of our class is so close on speed, it often comes down to where we are all pretty much on the same gear ratios. See you at Grattan!
