    We really enjoyed seeing each item come out of that box! The gouache dot card was brilliant. This was one scratch and sniff sticker away from absolute perfection!

    That paper organization in the end was very satisfying with the equal heights of the folders. Might try it myself.

    The gouache dot kits are a good idea, except they should definitely have a white dot with them. The difference between gouache and watercolor is opacity, and it's hard to get an idea of that opacity without a white. You made a cute little desert collage :)

    A few years ago my supervisor at work coordinated with a charity which distributed shoeboxes at Christmas filled with items that would be useful for a child to be sent to Eastern Europe. Of course you didn’t know who would receive your box but art materials were a definite for inclusion. It’s a few years ago now but this reminded me.

    Your video made me remember that I already own one of those stand-up file folders and it does look great for collage papers! Thank you!

    Hullo! I love it when an Artist breaks out of their regular medium or what they are known for! You create really wonderful art and being known for book binding just shows everyone that we all can create wonderful artworks with determination and an idea that we are willing to experiment! You are truly inspirational and so lovely. Thank you for sharing another video with us.

    Enjoy this video and video format. The music (without voice over) was kind of nice. Liked seeing the mystery are packs and the dot gauche kits. Fun gift or inspiration product reviews. 👍👍

    I am familiar with dot cards for watercolor but never thought about them for gouache. Makes sense it would work with it too.
    I love the desert sunset collage you made.

    Love the direction you are taking with your channel, all the best to you.
    Tim holtz tonic studio scissors are by far superior I have had mine for ten years I cut everything with them, and they cut just as well today and don't hurt my hands, I have both the large and small and intend to buy the tiny one soon.

    • @SeaLemonDIY
      @SeaLemonDIY  ปีที่แล้ว

      All the tonic precision scissors I saw were serrated, which would leave a small texture on the edge of the cut. That's the only reason I didn't try them, but they were highly recommended as well!

    • @PatriciaPageMosaicArtsCrafts
      @PatriciaPageMosaicArtsCrafts ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SeaLemonDIY oh I see totally understandable ,mine are not serrated, anyway the ones you bought are worthy 😊

    My favorite pair of scissors is my Sun-Star Stickyle Akeruno Scissors that I got form Jet-Pens. They're the most comfortable pair of scissors I've ever used. I think it's because they're a stick style? They also are treated so that they don't get gummy with adhesive.

    Random comment, since I just remember about them. Fiskars has another spring action ships for craft. That makes cutting a lot of things really easy on the hands. Like the cutter bee scissors but with an easier grip, and a spring. I like that pair because you just need to squeeze them shut in a very easy manner.

    Hello I am trying to find the lesson plan for the sunset collage do you have one listed? I think it is pretty simple but I teach senior citizens and want to keep things simple. This is a great idea! Thank you!

    Are you still playing around with paper making? Or will you be making more as you need to make more?
    How does homemade paper compare to construction paper? If you have any construction paper. In terms of weight, how it rips, how it acts when use a medium on it or glue it down? I'm curious.

    I have crossover blades scissors for cutting cloth. Like they were made for tailors. Can you try cutting fabric with them and see how it goes?

    • @SeaLemonDIY
      @SeaLemonDIY  ปีที่แล้ว

      They do cut through fabric, but it still feels like they don't cut like they should. I'm sure your scissors are better quality.

    • @Dante343
      @Dante343 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SeaLemonDIY Mine actually have long blades. They're the typical ones you see hanging in a clothes store that they use to slide through cloth and cut as per size. This was just the first thought that came to mind when I saw the shape and how they overlap. Hope you can exchange them!
