Yeah, Paul is absolutely phenomenal when it comes to the guitar. I wish I would have stuck with the time dedication I started in high school with my guitar playing. I was practiticng JUST like these guys, Paul, Buckethead, Zakk Wylde, etc. Doing the hours on end DAILY in my room, doing NOTHING else but playing. I even in later high school years started to test my abilities by seeing how well I could play while getting as intoxicated as I possibly could while still being conscious, and trying to play, to "see how automatic it was" and it was getting to that point. Unfortunately, it all ended when I thought I found love, and chased this girl instead, who HATED guitar playing. Boy, was I stupid. I didn't pick up my guitar after her for another 2 years solid, not even opened the case. Decided to pick it up after her, to my surprise, I was not able to make it sound as smooth and effortless as I once had. So I became determined to get it back! But I didn't, I met another girl, put all my time into her, then married her... same deal, didn't care for guitar.. so I stopped... again... for 5 years this time... Long story short, I am back on the horse, but didn't SERIOUSLY pick it back up again more than a few licks here and there then giving up at times because of "slop", until about 5 - 6 years ago. I still though, as an adult in the real world, can't dedicate time like I used to, nor these guys can, so unfortunately I will never be a Rockstar as I always dreamed! lol At least my band put out an album locally back in the day when we were young and not focused on chicks.. hahaha
