Curious as to what you did to lower the item number so you could continue? Really creative build and very pretty, thank you for sharing your designing talent with the DDV community.
I have a video on how to reduce the item count if you scroll back through my videos (I don’t have too many). I go over tips and tricks on how to get that number down. The only thing that is outdated in that video now is that your house furniture no longer counts and is unaffected.

I Can’t order the waterfall items from Scrooges store anymore. That item if you click on it just locks up and doesn’t give you the option to buy it. I am also noticing things in Scrooges store that have no money attached to them and those also so item not available, so I’m wondering what those are and why I can’t order the waterfalls anymore
It is a common glitch/bug for the waterfall items. For Scrooges store I have not heard about that. Remember that if you are playing in switch your date and time should be set to current date and time. This game does not support time travel and I’ve heard a lot of people having issues with this since they play animal crossing and change the time on their switch.
