- This is a new 2023 Toyota Camry LE. This Camry LE comes in predawn gray mica on black cloth interior. The powertrain consists of a 2.5 liter naturally aspirated 4 cylinder engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Standard features include a backup camera, Bluetooth audio, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility. Additional features include radar cruise control, lane centering, and a power driver’s seat.

The LE isn't "one level up from the base", it is the base, but it is extremely well equipped .
Yes sorry, 2019 was last year for Camry L I believe.
I really like this LE, but I’d get the optional sunroof package for it. It’s a very very nice car.

Assuming they haven’t changed it between 2020 and 2023, you can pop the trunk on the outside with a button on the far right side of the lip above the license plate. I’m not sure why they didn’t put it in the center because every time someone else tries to pop it I have to show them where the button is.

I like their absolute base model i just wish you could get an LE model in 4 cylinder, and 6 cylinder optionable without having to get the trd for the suspension. I dont go to the track man, i want the v6 for commuting. If you want the suspension you get.trd but if you dont want the stiffer suspension and still want the v6 you gotta step up another level and it would be nice of you could get the v6 in the base model
You can get a similar JBL stereo set up in an LE to SE from crutchfield. I have the set up in my 2021 LE.
What did you do about the subwoofer? Is the opening where the JBL sub is supposed to be still there if JBL system was not equipped?
This IS the base model. They stopped making the L after 2020.

I just want a map display that works without a phone. Lots of cheap sounding hard plastics up front. Steering wheel controls as usual are not intuitive. Best feature is highway fuel economy. The 2018, 19, 20 Camry headunit was well integrated into the dash. Now the whole dashboard looks discombobulated. The LE has the best looking exterior of the bunch.
Same here I want a map display without a wire it sucks . They charge extra for that then they used some app but they discontinue the app services all together. I have the 2020 Camry xse and I wanted to upgrade it but I hate that damn iPad on the dash it looks stupid . I like my dash better it just flows better.
Very Nice Car reliable and fun to use. Compare to honda accord.

Hi, between accord lx and camry le, which one has worse cabin noise? Especially road noise.
Is accord more stiff than camry in suspension? Especially in bad road
I’d say Camry le has worse cabin noise, and both seemed pretty close to me in terms of suspension stiffness.

They should make v6 an option on the le so we can get it if we dont want trd or the higher class and just want bare bones car but with the good engine.

Camry for powertrain and reliability, but Malibu has better interior. I’d choose Malibu personally, but I’ve had two in the past, so biased answer. 😂

Just bought Camry LE yesterday 2/27/2024 it does not have stop/start feature at traffic lights. I hate that feature, my female friend has stop/start feature on her new Jeep Compass at 5,000 mile her Jeep stall at a red light, she waits 15” later then it starts again. Jeep dealer couldn’t find out why because it’s intermittent problem. She finally get rid of that 30,000 miles Jeep and bought a different brand without stop/start feature.

I paid the dealer separately to have Custom Trim installed remote starter. Most car doesn’t come with this feature. It’s an option!
