There is very good racing happening among three championship contenders at the top of their game right now. That’s what matters. That’s what’s golden about this moment, and that’s who we need to be talking about. Not faded glory.

100% agree, also what's great is the riders attitude, they don't complain about an aggressive overtake for two months like the GP guys. They love racing and enjoy the aggression.

Didn't see Bautista as this powerhouse earlier. He capitalised so well on the mistakes top 2 made. Excellent racing, and a great time to be alive.

No, I doubt he would be useful to a V4 engine, its an insane transition and most can't make it. Rossi couldn't do shit in Ducati but Stoner could.
this has to be one of the most entertaining duels I've ever seen in motorsport... they're absolutely relentless and give nothing to each other free... amazing racing

I left GP a long while ago when Rossi faded and I'm also a massive kawasaki fan. This always has me on the edge of my seat. It's awesome.

Toprak and Johnny need to forget the mid-race scrapping and make the break from Alvaro, then settle it in last 2 or 3 laps. They are just handing the win to Alvaro on a plate, slowing each other up and allowing Alvaro to pick them off with his superior straight line speed.

That's what an additional 1500rpms will get you. Joke that Ducati gets 16,100 limit and Kawasaki gets a 14,600 and Yamaha a 14,950 rev limit.

Raz/Bau battles remind me of the Rossi/Stoner duels, Same Manufacturers (I understand its MotoGP, still) very similar as Rossi could throw that R1 around more and was wicked late on the breaks, more than Stoner could muscle that Ducati (he was the only one who could tame it) However THAT POWER,,, of the Ducati was unreal.
Seemingly, not a great deal has changed since 2008 in those two manufacturer strengths and vulnerabilities. That V4 is so fast.
These WSBK, especially the top 8 or so are truly skilled racers. I hope people are appreciating this circuit.

That Ducati have a serious top end but lack of low end and breaks but the guy make a oustanding job in a track like that just perfect its more interesting than look a Motogp race, i liked
Low end doesn't matter in racing. You are always keeping the engine in its happy revs and the bikes are geared accordingly. Racing is not the same as street riding.
Looking at how Bautista is doing in wsbk vs when he's in motogp makes me think that motogp riders's skills are on another different level.

take an example of Rea .. he's 6x wsbk champion but in MotoGP he'd be the last even in the best bike .. MotoGP is another level

You can't look at it that way, sometimes everything needs to click together for a rider to be fast bouth in WSBK and Motogp. Bautista was slow on a Honda and he was regularly challenged by Haslam who was easily beaten by Rea, so we can't really know who is at what level.

I have everything on this track except a kawi and the v4 in the aprilia is a beast of a engine power every single spot of the rpm but the Ducati matches it mostly but the frame and suspension are the stars here not to mention the rear tire

It's more a case of Bautista being much smaller and lighter. A few Kg in weight makes all the difference at this level, or indeed on the road....how many of us feel our bikes perform much better with the original exhaust and heavy cat removed for a slip on exhaust?
The Ducati has slight advantage in gearing and torque out of a corner and accelerating, but the Yamaha has a handling and braking advantage, and the Kawasaki is a good all rounder. It all makes for exciting, close racing.
