Obviously Mr. Koch is a brilliant businessman who learned much from his businessman-father as well developed his own concept of doing business by correct ways for the righteousness of earnings to grow his business as well run it by good business manner and working ethics. His instructions of the values of the business are valuable to any business entity of small or medieme or large ones. I believe his visions for business of visions, virtual talents, knowledge base, decision rights and senates. I also believe his hiring concept of integrity, knowledge, charlinge, treat others by respect...etc. However, I also like one of Japanese's management philosophy of the loyalty and principles of their ways of the business management too. Learn from each other will only be better.

"You have to add value *for* everyone". No. He had to convince people to add value *to themselves*. He recognized that a valuable human is a number. An invaluable human is a Man. You have to get them to do it to themselves so the society lives longer, so they can squeeze more out. He knows the game. He read the contract. $100 bil? This man is no one to mimic. He is to be studied and his behaviors are to be avoided.
The problem with Charles Koch's philosophy is that people higher up the ladder will take credit for your ideas and leave you out and if you implement an "I have an idea" program with your idea in writing, you will get a lot of really stupid ideas that will cost a lot of money to implement and your company will loose money. A lot of company's will put a narcissist in management positions who is only concerned with handing down orders and not willing to listen to the employees.

Have you ever either of you worked on an oil rig or seen what an oilfield looks like in person? they have to chop up precious land and devastate ecosystems in order to build the necessary roads and sites. People have no idea how brutal of a process it is to rip out oil from the ground. And we think we're not going to pay for the damage we're doing to the environment for some reason, it's clearly fucking up the environment on so many levels. So you want me to say 'yes, I take advantage of modernities' like everyone else who was BORN in this society, but if you use your brain and think about what humans are doing to the environment is so blatantly obvious. The more we support oil, the more oil companies have the power to use our militaries and control everything. It allows them to have a monopoly on other companies producing new clean burning fuels and destroying competition so we can't innovate in those fields in different directions. We should be allowed to use the roads for all kinds of vehicles but we're forced to use fossil fuels as the source of fuel.
That's a difference between yesteryear and today. On my SATs I got a perfect and near perfect on the SAT I Math, and SAT II Math subject. Yet nearly all colleges didn't like my SAT scores because they were average on the English side.
well in my case ...I am taken GRE and my both, English and Math scores are terrible but I am hell bent to take MS degree. May be Universities take me on the basis of my work experience which is 3 years. This old man is so lucky that he came to know about his "Aptitude", I wonder when will I recognize such Aptitude in me. He knows a lot about himself. I also know some things about myself .but that knowledge is not compelling because I know about the things I am bad at, and I chase them to be better at them rather than taking what is easy and natural for me. As far as I know; a positive trait about me is that I love real estate and business and economics.. but I am afraid that I might a Major in my MS university which will complement my past work ex and will help be find a secure job, and I know it will inhibit my natural longing to do my own business...I don't know what will happen to my financial dream...Will I ever be a billionaire.
