I am a huge madrimov fan and i watched the entire fight and i was rooting for him to beat Crawford but in round 1 i saw israel feeling out bud and bud doing the same thing! But I had no dog in the fight. I just watched as a life long boxing fan. Madrimov won. And his numbers were my numbers. So…I’m glad I stumbled across this interview. If Madrimov let his hands go 10%+ more, he would’ve been knocked out by a counter he didn’t see coming. There’s a reason he didn’t approach Bud with the same aggression of letting his hands go as he did his 10 prior opponents. It doesn’t take rocket science to understand people.
