In this new free gorilla tag vr slide beta update, I try out the new gorilla tag vr update map that has all of the new slides on the oculus quest 2! There has been an update to the locomotion in gorilla tag vr, now the slippery walls tutorial are super slippery, so gorilla tag pros cant wallclimb anymore! This new free gorilla tag vr slides sliding update beta map was so fun to play in! I had so much fun in this free gorilla tag vr update on the oculus quest 2!

for those of you who dont know how this works, its a beta update the slides will not be in actualy gorilla tag, they are using slides to show the new update to actual gorilla tag which will be increasing slipperyness on walls meaning you cant go on slipper walls AT ALL.

@Fleaket oculus app then search gorilla tag, scroll down and press drop down menu and hit beta, or on steam do same but connect be to computer for steam

This update is weird, but I loved watching a few of your videos, it made me become good at the game, and playing silently with kids and squeakers
there is a new glitch, up at the planks, there is a slide going in a swirl downwards. then get to the second crease at the start of the left side of facing at the start, pull when your hand is just in it and you will fly to the top of the map

I kinda like this update but then not because it blocks areas I need or want to go to when I’m escaping but there are 2 cool glitches I found that are helpful.

There’s a glitch with the slides where you can launch yourself out of the forest map
Edit: go to the left edge of the curly slide. Then stick your hand somewhere in the left or the right and it should make you launch yourself out of the map.

So there’s this idea that I’ve had for a while, although it would have it’s problems, it would make for a great standalone headset.
What if the bits and pieces of the headset were spread around your body, and the only thing on your face, is the screens.
That means a bigger battery, better cooling, more space for better parts, and weight would be distributed around the body so it would not be an issue.
The only downside would be the lack of an ability to sit or lay in certain positions, but for standing play it would be a good experience!
