This book describes the historical evidence of the development of the Greek sounds from classical to New Testament down to modern times. It does not include listening or witten exercises. -PZ
This book describes the historical development and sounds of Κοινή [kini] "Koine." There is no companion DVD or CD that comes with this book. But there are sound files with reading portions and reading exercises that come with these two other books: Biblical Greek, Vol. II: Reading and Pronunciation Workbook; and Biblical Greek, Vol. III: Grammar Essentials. Professor - I just purchased your book as I am most interested in the topic. That said, I learned English by the phonics system. Does anything similar to that exist for Koine Greek? I find I have little faculty for language and think that if I could tie it to sound more directly, I could crack what has been very difficult for me. Thank you!
I study Classical Greek rather than New Testament Greek but having used the Restored Greek pronunciation for years, I've had a Pauline Conversion and have decided to learn to use present-day Greek pronunciation, which feels more natural, and now having watched your videos I'm more confirmed in my choice, and I've ordered your book which looks fascinating.
Great to see you post another video. Could you do a small reading of plato with a modern Greek accent?
Possibly. -PZ
Does it come with a CD or a DVD? How is the pronunciation presented?

Dear Mr. Ferguson, please contact me by e-mail about this at NTGreek@att.net. Thank you. -PZ
Is this similar to Randall Buth's pronunciation?
No. -PZ
