Thank you, Alistair, this has been a most impactful sermon to me this monring (in Australia). I took notes to meditate upon things you have imparted including when I heard from God without me realising at the time that it was Him who quickened my spirit, which you have just shown me, and I believed. It was Genesis 1 the creation which I heard and I was saved. God has blessed your ministry by which I am blessed through hearing.
I really appreciate your exaltation of the word of our Lord. I am back multiple times a week to build up my walk with the Lord and my discernment. So important in today’s age
As I listen to Alastair exalt the Son of God ,a line from a old hymn, comes to mind ,it is a thing most wonderful that Gods own son should come from heaven to save a wretch like me ,how can we thank Him ??

Many years ago, very poor and living in a Quonset, Christmas time came and with it the songs. One day a song popped into my head from my youth, and I heard and sang it like never before: “JOY TO THE WORLD-THE LORD IS COME! LET EARTH RECEIVE HER KING!!!” Fantastic how the Lord can make it so perfect/so wonderful, to this very day.

He is most likely referring to the new documentary style movie. CS Lewis: The Most Reluctant Convert. I’ve heard good things about it. Didn’t get to see it yet. He is one of my faith heroes. His books that I’ve read really opened my eyes to the truth about our faith. That it’s historically reliable. Years ago, I watched Dr. Gene Scott give his Easter message about the evidence for the Resurrection and was amazed at that fact. That we can know, for a fact, and share it as a fact with anyone else and they can believe or disbelieve. I always say I would hope and pray that they would find the evidence compelling enough to humbly seek the Lord Jesus. Shalom
John 17:3, Christ himself said that the Father in verse 1 is the only true God. That the Father sent Christ. Christ never claimed to be God even in John 20:17, Christ said he is ascending to his Father and to his God. That is the biblical truth, the word of God not the word of men.
John 10:30 "I and the Father are one ". It's called respect. The Son always glorified the Father as the Father always glorified the Son. Without the right Christology you are lost.
Pure arrogance and self righteousness and contradiction. This guy says that Christ is the savior of the world, yet he also holds to a position that most of humanity will be “punished in hell forever“. Ridiculous.
You are a fool and bound for hell God is a punishing people people are sending themselves to hell because of their own arrogance pride and the truly unforgivable sin of disbelief and refusing to accept the free gift given to every man woman and child ever born God is not going to force you but he's an absolute God of Justice which means if you decide to reject his free gift is just as demands that you are punished the same way all of hell will be punished by your own choice
