Well Vita is the Emissary/Proxy of a Goddess that harvest planets by destroying them and resetting them in a Samsara. She is the rules of the affected world and gives bits of her power to Vita to do her job. Yep it was a difficult situation. Vita had "killed" everyone at that moment and only Seele could beat her and save everyone at that moment. Rebirth vs the Apostle of Destruction/Annihilation etc. In case you're not familiar with Hi3rd story. Vita being a clone of that goddess who was the sole survivor of Venus when she was still human, millions of years ago.
I personnaly thought the opposite, imo Wildfire is much more representative of Cocolia bossfight than Hope is thing with feather is for Sunday boss fight. (even if the song is still great).

No, no it doesn't. If you think it does then you think like one of the boomers who never understood rock and metal music back in the 80's and 90's. Wildfire is as emotional, if not more emotional than Hope, you cannot see it because you easily connect yourself more with the emotions conveyed on mid Pop songs.
Deliverance Kevin boss fight and AHR Kevin Boss Fight weren't that memorable compared to this list. If you ask me, yes: Kevin OST as the human Kevin theme slaps respect but that's not a boss OST

Doggo’s theme is basically Honkai Impact woke up and chose Doom 2016 because it goes hard. It’s sad that not enough people talk about it, even among Honkai Impact fans.
I came here thinking Vita OST is probably in the top 2 and I was right. It has been stuck in my head since the day I first heard it. The violins in the 3rd part give me full-body chills every single time without fail. It is probably the best OST they released so far imo. I love that HI3rd started to do boss fights with OST's that have multiple parts/sections. I especially love Vita, Sa, and Donigue's multi-part OST a lot. They are such bangers. Dont know if you are caught up with part 2 but the OST in the new CG called "Shadows Sin and Punishment" is so good. Give it a try if you haven't heard it yet. This music company called MiHoYo do be making good games am I right?😄
oaths/oracle will always be special , adam being the last man standing on his team exceeding his limit and even shadows himeko with his slash. HoT boss battle was epic as well. the build up in every phase then all hell was unleashed when Mei and her dragon swooped down on kiana.

It's her final theme after the Sa Fight when she steal all of her Authority and Eyes of Bodhi. I included it because it's a variation of Deformed Butterfly for Vita but yes, it stopped at unrecognizable officially
HSR babies didnt and wont play HI3 ever because its an old game (and because its more p2w according to the most claims I've seen, which is false, unless you aim for Nirvana), so they will never understand the feelings which boss themes of Sa and especially Vita make you go through with these godly osts just like Wildfire and 3rd phase of Sunday. I am myself an HSR baby too, who started HI3 during 6.7, but i listen to HI3 boss themes way more often than HSR's, especially Lantern's, Sa's, Vita's and Oracle, I just never get tired of them, meanwhile HSR boss themes are great too, but i cant listen to them on a loop for few hours for some reason, even though i love both games. Vita's boss theme was created by gods and obliterates any boss themes created by Hoyo so far.
I used to play HI3, but was a later arrival, I stopped playing because I lost my account data 3 times I did have a potato phone, but still, a bit too much was lost. The 3rd time, I made a hoyo account but it still disappeared, my account still exists, but I have no way of accessing it. My player data is goes directly to a new account and I haven't found a way to solve it
I play HI3rd religiously since 2019. I started a new account 687 days ago because I wanted to know what the new player experience is like compared to the old days and I was shocked at how much free stuff new players get these days. I abandoned my 2019 account and have been playing this new account ever since. I have almost every character ( except Aponia, Nyx, Vill-V, Spina Astera, and Misteln) Every character I pulled since Trio are fully geared. I also only buy BP and a monthly pass so I am not fully F2P. HI3rd is definitely not P2W unless you want to maintain Nirvana rank. I have no problem maintaining RL every single week for almost 2 years now. Every 2 weeks or so I even get promoted to Nirvana without even trying. I maintained Nirvana for one week on this new account (which I am really proud of lol) but generally I stay in RL and I am fine with that. I play gacha games for the story and the new characters so you can say I am a collector of sorts. Honkai having no 50/50 is a BIG plus for me because I can get exactly what I am summoning for. I quit HSR after penacony because the story didn't excite me but most importantly because of the atrocious gacha system! Having to go to full pity and losing almost every 50/50 for over a year is not fun at all! Just an example when Lunar Vow came out she was accompanied by the new Senti gear (3x Stigs and 1x weapon). I don't remember which character HSR had at that time. Long story short pulling for for Lunar Vow + gear + Senti gear was cheaper than pulling for one character in HSR (WITHOUT LC!) As a collector HSR is unplayable for me. Well at least I can say I almost got Welt to E6 on HSR after losing all those 50/50 to him before I quit the game. I love my boy Welt but one copy would have been enough. I think a loud minority is saying HI3rd is P2W because every single character we got for the last months were all S-rank. Typically we get some farmable SP valks in between but they stopped doing that for part 2. I get it but those people forget that the gacha changed a lot for part 2. Back in part 1 charakter banners had 100 pity and gear banners had 50 pity for 4 gear pieces (300 pulls max without 50/50). Nowadays you only need 150 pulls (with no 50/50!!!!) for the uprate character + full gear which is a big win in my book. People who complain probably weren't around the Trio patch. This was the first time I was mad at the part 1 gacha because Kiana had me go to pity every single time. This was also the first time I topped up a lot to get her Bronya and Mei full gear. Yeah having to pull almost 300 times for full gear was not fun. At least it was only this one time but yeah I am glad that the old gacha has gone to hell and hopefully stays there. In a world where every single new gacha game has a 50/50 system HI3rd is truly unique to me. Gacha is already predatory by nature but if you slap a 50/50 system on it then it just becomes a scam that people willingly participate in. I will never understand people defending the 50/50 system. But as long as these people and people (mostly streamers) that drop 5k to a-z6 a character etc. exist this gacha model will not die... sadly. In conclusion HI3rd has probably the most F2P gacha model on the market and is definitely not P2W if you play casually and don't give a crap about ranks.
This is a subjective list and while I agree that the Phase 2 is very good for Phantylia, phase 1 and 3 are forgettable compared to Phase 1 & 2 Cocolia and Phase 1,2,3 Dominicus Sunday. Just like how I feel that Svarog's theme is way more memorable than SAM's OST, yet, purely my opinion.

I highly suggest the GGZ music you can find on youtube (Guns Girl Z or Houkai Gakuen 2), it's even more different than Hi3rd, more anime like. Have fun
@@RoccusTerminal just music, without gameplay, does not evoke so many emotions, since it is not tied to any events. When i play into one of Legend of Zelda, I hear one track, which still gives me breathtaking, but only because I lived that moment. on its own it would not have caused such emotions
Go play Arknights, then tell me that. Not hating on hoyo at all, but Arknights devs are basically just a music company that makes games on the side at this point… they have like 10 hours worth of just vocal tracks alone
I still think the Sage Of The High Tower is slept on, though it did come right before Vita so it isn't surprising. personally as great as Oath and Oracle are, it's not because of their placements as boss themes. I'd replace them with the HoT boss phases and Elysia's final waltz. honourable mentions to Truce (Kasumi boss theme) and good'ol Raven's theme.
I don't know a lot about Honkai lore in integrality, but I know for sure that HSR is not unique in having great ost (I think there's a HI3 ost named Monster Hunt, which I like a lot, but I'm not sure it's actually HI3 😅) I'm really happy to see Godfather in the list, I think it fits the ambiance of the boss really well. But I'm surprised that it actually made it to the top 10, out of all the Honkai games 😊
To be honest, as for me, the music during the battle in Yarilo 6 will always remain the most emotional and beautiful, because The sound of Irish bagpipes is so beautifully played in that song that it seems to be like a balm for the soul
Great list! And putting Duonigue boss theme above Wildfire is so like me. Both give me the same vibe, they were all the turn up point. Both story at that point was ok, nothing special, then come the boss vibe, and music slaps. And that Cerberus-of-a-boss theme hit me double time compare to Wildfire 🔥
i wish they gave kevin a better theme ;w; imagine if they reworked the theme "kevin" into a boss theme remix T^T im so sad they missed the opportunities with his boss theme even tho his fight was amazing
oh oracle has a special place in my heart. apho will forever be the best thing to happen to honkai imo any1 not playing hi3 is severely missing out on the music. for me, hi3 has the best music team within all the games.
I'm surprised that the Battle theme for Shadow Knight was slept on here Knight Moonbeam vs Shadow Knight was one of the first major bosses in Hi3 and one of the most memorable
personally i rank vitas theme and sa ost equal, both magnificently potrayed their respective roles in the story, vita has a eerie, mysterious kind of vibe while sa has that overwhelming godly vibe that perfectly contrast each other imo.. also u could've put a special mention in ur top 10
The thing is Vita's theme is even more menacing and grandiose than Sa (imo) and the story showed us how much of a threat Vita could be when she literally beat and crippled her creator by her own schemes. Thus showing the difference ingm grandeur and intensity between the two
Svarog's way better than SAM. I won't change my mind. SAM may be cool but Svarog's theme is grand. Also Phanty who? It only gets good when phase 2 drops, phase 1, intro phase 2 and phase 3 are forgettable
My man the name "Honkai" has been used to refer only to Honkai Impact 3rd before hsr was created. Now that it exists, expect hi3 and not only hsr when the name "Honkai" came up

I still think the Sage Of The High Tower is slept on, though it did come right before Vita so it isn't surprising. personally as great as Oath and Oracle are, it's not because of their placements as boss themes. I'd replace them with the HoT boss phases and Elysia's final waltz.

I don't know a lot about Honkai lore in integrality, but I know for sure that HSR is not unique in having great ost (I think there's a HI3 ost named Monster Hunt, which I like a lot, but I'm not sure it's actually HI3 😅)
I'm really happy to see Godfather in the list, I think it fits the ambiance of the boss really well. But I'm surprised that it actually made it to the top 10, out of all the Honkai games 😊

To be honest, as for me, the music during the battle in Yarilo 6 will always remain the most emotional and beautiful, because The sound of Irish bagpipes is so beautifully played in that song that it seems to be like a balm for the soul

Both give me the same vibe, they were all the turn up point. Both story at that point was ok, nothing special, then come the boss vibe, and music slaps. And that Cerberus-of-a-boss theme hit me double time compare to Wildfire 🔥

personally i rank vitas theme and sa ost equal, both magnificently potrayed their respective roles in the story, vita has a eerie, mysterious kind of vibe while sa has that overwhelming godly vibe that perfectly contrast each other imo..

The thing is Vita's theme is even more menacing and grandiose than Sa (imo) and the story showed us how much of a threat Vita could be when she literally beat and crippled her creator by her own schemes. Thus showing the difference ingm grandeur and intensity between the two
