Great conversation. Great fun. Yeah, I'm old, and easily entertained. Am maybe I dozed off. Some. But funny. When I was awake. And my hearing aid wasn't whistling. But hey, thanks.
I only came to this podcast to check out Leah and that is the case with majority of viewers/listeners as they follow the guest and sometimes subscribe because they end up liking the host and/or channel as well. In this case I have been following Leah around because she SO Funny and SO awesome and like many amateurs on the internet, Tyler really REALLY needs to let their guest speak because the constant (and useless/aimless) interruptions are SO badly timed and not letting Leah even get their story even started!! Some podcasts try to be conversational or maybe like an interview and each style has it's various branching styles, but this messy and annoying 74 minute who-knows-what had no direction and left SO MANY topics unfinished after starting answering a question and then interrupting off in another direction. There is a time and a place for interviewer/host to ask questions and/or interject but you kept breaking Leah's flow at the worst times resulting in SO many topics/sentences Leah never even finished what she started. You see this often because the host is juvenile (not actually listening to other person) and/or more interested with hearing their own voice than actually letting the guest finish the thought they started and allowing them to see where the conversation goes without constantly putting pressure on the other person, almost like the host is in some sort of urgent rush somewhere.....if it is going to be 74 minutes with SO MUCH aimless fluff from start to end, then surely there is no rush to keep guessing what the other person is going to say by constantly interrupting or jumping in with what you THINK they getting at rather than letting them express their self, I mean Leah is an artist, let her express herself please! Listening to these types of podcasts are extremely frustrating and annoying and since anyone can simply create a channel, there are allot of these types of annoying conversations online that remind one of high-schoolers recording 2 hours of their conversations as it has the same directionless feeling and constant annoying interruptions leaving the viewer/listener frustrated from start to end. So many times Tyler asks a question and does not even allow Leah to get through the first half of the first sentence of Leah's answer before steam-rolling Leah's response with trying to predict what she gonna say or simply taking over Leah's answer and digressing the story elsewhere with juvenile additional questions which could easily be asked AFTER Leah finishes the current thought if it has to be asked.... ...these constant interruptions left me hungry to hear what Leah was going to say and never hear it so many times. This type of podcast hosting direction is extremely annoying as it is interruptive and hard to follow and hard to relax while watching (or listening to) and it results in many listeners/viewers never coming back to the channel... Like I myself will not check it out ever again as I continue to follow Leah's Amazing energy elsewhere as this podcast left me frustrated with Tyler's interruptive style. I hope this comment can be taken as constructive criticism and might help as Tyler builds on his skills of conduct for this channel. Other than that, thanks for having Leah on your channel, she is GREAT!! 😅👌
Came here to see Leah.I Almost logged off when you kept interrupting her bc that shit is hella wack. Did not think you were funny. Went to TH-cam and saw your standup. Your writing, timing, etc. is TOP TIER. I mean it is brilliant and i'm a complete comedy snob. Your Interviewing skills NOT so much. Anyways keep going you are both amazing!!!
Coincidentally I had the same sentiment and I did not see your comment until AFTER I posted mine about getting annoyed at these podcasts where the hosts constantly interrupts the guest....the interruptions are constant from start all the way to the end! Also, I would not have EVER guessed Tyler was a comedian until I read so in your comment...not funny, smart or witty so cannot imagine Tyler's "material" is anything special or has ability to last, but I only checked this podcast out because I follow Leah content as she SO Funny, talented and generally fun to watch. 😅
I actually like his standup comedy... a lot. You should check it out. Everyones gifts translate differently. The interview just irritated me. 😂He is clearly a great writer though. They are both very talented!@@deonhitchcock3985
