Not saying i am right or wrong but how is this for a hypothesis. The reality that impressions in both sand and mud still being visible & readable after how many million years is at which percentage? like 0.0001% maybe if conditions are exact, maybe just might be... What conditions were present so those prints were not eroded by tide, rain, or wind over the years it the prints solidifying. At which percentage is that occurrence present? What are the odds of this all happening and is it actually real? Are you sure they are not 200 years old and made from a big-footed Maori or Moriori? Not being racial or cheeky but applying critical thinking as we should. 200million years ago, Both north and south islands were still separating from Australia. What is now the Tasman sea was still land back then By 70million years the separation was apparently complete and 90% of the country was submerged in water. Explain where this fact fits in, please. Rember that a global flood occurred only 7-19,000 years ago so how do these very soft and malleable footprints explain their existence after all of these years. Sure it is all a good story to say hey, look at us, we too have a dinosaur history... but let us not go too far from reality

The footprints had to happen at a time of rapid deposition of multiple layers to have the layers pliable enough to distort and bend under the animal. The layers that covered and preserved it also had to happen rapidly. so the layers have evidence in them showing that they come from one period and are evidence of a short time frame namely fossilized footprints. That is scientific reasoning. "Millions if years" is an unscientific religious interpretation of layers. The presence and preservation of fossils in those layers proves it is not true but any shortening of the time frame leaves not enough time for their religious, Darwinian just so story falsely called evolution. Evolution being change over time is not unique to any of the interpretations of the evidence, but the word has been made synonymous with the religious view called Darwinism. Predictions of a continuous and abundant series of intermediate organisms have proved false. Darwin's missing links are still missing. All evidence of mutation and adaption of organisms involves loss of information so does not support Darwinism.
How can people be sure that dinosaurs lived with man? Discovering paintings of dinosaurs on rocks that ancient men have painted, doesn't mean that they have lived with dinosaurs. Just like we are making films about dinosaurs and drawing pictures of dinosaurs that we discovered skeletons of them, ancient people have discovered and drawn on rocks instead of papers. Just imagine the people who'll come after million years from now,they will find our paintings and they will think they lived with us

I think your dates are assumptions and I would like to know how and why the dinosaur footprints were fossilized. Most aren't.
All traces of prehistoric life are considered fossils including footprints and even chemical fossils we call "fossil fuels". :)
