Pvp makes the most sense for a big new feature, would essentially create an entirely new metagame and environment within the regular game, especially if they added spicy stuff like customizable modifiers/special prizes/tournaments/etc.

The event really jumped it's player count from a mere 1k or under to over 5k daily, heck as if right now me writing this there's about 11k people playing which has more than TDS right now(at 8.6k) Overall we're still lucky that the devs di care slightly about the game, sure albeit updates are horrible and barely any content to scrape but at least they haven't kept the frost invasion update schedule

yea I don't think new towers and events are coming due to the sheer amount of time both take. they both take the same amount to make and are usually not the highest priority. they've just been focusing on more retention updates secretly and have currently been releasing cosmetic and qol updates. sooo either they make a new game or its some crap like pvp. 🤷♂️

But both were scrapped, plus, they've always wanted to make new games, i mean its Paradoxum Games for a reason, they want to make new games but they've just been stuck with TDS. So it's just like all over the place on what they plan to do.
My ideas are to readd hidden wave and make it not as buggy after that they should try to rebalance the towers that need it (ones like freezer), then they could rebalance the 3 main game modes and have better testing because they already rebalanced the towers, molten needing this the most, fallen can buff some enemies, and make normal mode 40 waves (i don't mind a new enemy for normal mode), i think molten boss can have like 100k hp or around that, considering how slow it is. O think badlands deserves a nerf as i think it should he targeted towards mid game players. These are just my ideas though.

you expect tds to be in every awards? there's a ton of games with massive good quality updates, and the devs work hard for them. But, they don't get into the awards, it's just the matter of popularity and TH-camrs playing it.

Well just 3 days ago they added vr support and it’s quite cool and slightly supports the fact that roblox is now native on the quest 2 and pro.
I really hope they add customizable modifiers to add variety to the game by giving progressed players a reason to keep playing
