Today was the first snow that would not stay. But yes, we are one of the coldest places to live on. Despite the cold do not be afraid. It is a very friendly place and good for a younger family to raise the kids.
Six months of cold is for sure, but the rest is good days if you like summers. Snow is for sure for 100 to 150 days. Because once the snow comes it does not melt and go away. The temperature stays in negatives for about 200 days a year. The good snowless days should be about 165 a year.

Hello Sudhir ji, lovely family with awesome videos. You and yours wife Rekha is doing such a wonderful job there in Saskatoon. Me and my family is very impressed . God bless you and your family. You are true Indian . Proud of you. regards ..... Kavita Gaur

Hiii, I just made my EOI through SNIP and m willing to get settled down soon if luck supports us but I am a bit skeptical about the job opportunity over there as an Architect and the initial expenses.
As you come to Canada Joy, my advice will be - Do Not Be Choozy. Take any job that pays you for daily living and, in the meantime continue hunting for your dream job. Your degrees and experience may not hold much weight. Do not be disheartened. Upgrade your papers by going to school and get a local certification. Added with locally gained experience and knowledge that you will have to find in the city where you live; you shall fly high. Government is very supportive for almost one full year by providing newcomers with a lot of necessary courses. Caution: Do not imagine that you will be taken as a prince in the new city. It's a real-world scenario, and you would be facing competition. All the best, and get ready to show the world that you can do it. Good luck

Ritu Devi ji, my would be son in law is working as an electrical engineer. Saskatoon is a city population of around 3.5 lac. Growing and prosperous. Canadian degrees hold good but outsiders need to do much before good jobs line up. Try looking into Railways. Lots of good pays for engineers.
Very safe, Damanpreet. This place is a hot heaven in summers and a cold heaven in winters. Low safety should be least of your concerns amongst all others.
Grab what is available for the time being. Keep looking and negotiate. Location of the house, age of the house, distance from market and schools, localities and many other factors would dictate the money.

Hay John, I always thought that my looks speak for themselves. My face is an average north Indian face from about 60 years ago. And yes! I am a desi North Indian from the Northen part of the country.
Basic cost can be somewhere around $1500-$2000 a month. Whereas, the spouse gets a work visa and they can meet the expenses and, save if they work more shifts. The student themselves are also allowed to work, thus adding to revenues.
Loved your vlog buddy. I was planning to apply for immigration. And was scared as my father is of your father's age. And i was not sure if he will be able to settle down. But it seems like there are few desi people. Thanks again. Love from Pakistani
Hay Muhammad Awais Bhai, thank you for your comment. I would guess that the population of people from the Indian subcontinent in Saskatoon and around could be close to 100 thousand people (Ek lakh kay aas pass). This includes Sikhs, Muslims, Hindus and some other faith followers from our land. This makes about 10% of the population of Saskatchewan province. The older people who are passing on, few of them are in their 90s and have been here for more than 50 or 60 years. I know this because of the nature of my business. Hello, Keepa. When you say Punjabi community - tell me one place where you will not find Punjabi people? Second, as many do, if you are referring to Sikh community, we have two and a half gurudwaras in a mid-size city of Saskatoon. There is a moderate community size of Punjabi people those who are not followers of Sikhism. On the flip side, there is a very large presence of Sikh community in our city.

Few more localities have the status of a town now, but they are small and may not have enough opportunities. Wherever you go within SK, you cannot miss Indians and Pakistanis.
@@SudhirBaujee ji Much appreciated your response Sir.
I have got an offer letter from an employer in Llyodminster and the job location will be Nort Battleford most probably.
Thanks again Sir. Looking forward to meet you some day.
Good luck, John. Just grab the opportunity and get started with work. Text me or call me when you are here. Congratulations and welcome.
@@SudhirBaujee ji thank you Sir . Will keep you posted.
Nice hindi indian video, most of Canada video make in by punjabi language, because everyone knows hindi atleast.
आप ठीक सोच रहे हैं Prashant Kurle जी।
मेरा इंग्लिश में ज़रा हाथ तंग है।
Sudhir Suryavanshi जी darasal baat ye hai ki youtube pe bahut sari canada ki video punjabi me hai, jo ki vo sirf punjabi me hi banate hai. Agar aap hindi me comments karoge to vo replay bhi nahi dete. I respect Punjabi language. Hindi video hota hai to sabhi ko kuch knowledge experience milta hai.

Thank u Sir
wowww...I really liked u n your video sir.. n superb family....for electrical engineer how's this province?
Ritu Devi ji, my would be son in law is working as an electrical engineer. Saskatoon is a city population of around 3.5 lac. Growing and prosperous.
Canadian degrees hold good but outsiders need to do much before good jobs line up.
Try looking into Railways. Lots of good pays for engineers.
What about pay scale in saskatchewan
thestarphoenix.com/news/local-news/saskatchewans-minimum-wage-currently-canadas-lowest-to-rise-10-cents-per-hour
Howz the scope of part time jobs on saskatoon
Damanpreet Singh ji, jobs are always open. It depends what are you looking for and what is available.
Try SaskJobs.ca
Is it safe to live there
Very safe, Damanpreet. This place is a hot heaven in summers and a cold heaven in winters.
Low safety should be least of your concerns amongst all others.
Monthly rent of two room basement
Damanpreet Singh ji, I don’t have it but should be under one grand a month. ($1000 or a little less)
If i need one bedroom independent in basement then hw much would it cost
Grab what is available for the time being.
Keep looking and negotiate.
Location of the house, age of the house, distance from market and schools, localities and many other factors would dictate the money.
I will apply for sinp, I want to known job for textile engineer in saskatoon
Manoj Patel, I think I know someone by the name Mr. Desai who is a textile engineer and lives in Saskatoon.
To my knowledge there is no opportunity for such an opening. Nevertheless, try to contact Mr. Desai and I am sure he would be the best person to guide you. I will find out his contact and see if he is willing to help. No promises though. Good luck.

Are you East Indian?
Hay John, I always thought that my looks speak for themselves. My face is an average north Indian face from about 60 years ago.
And yes! I am a desi North Indian from the Northen part of the country.
What's the expense for a student with spouse here.... kindly help
Log on to our Website: www.warmandcozy.ca
Though older people from our community need help, due to cultural apprehensions, senior care homes are not the first choice. But times are changing. I will not mind talking to your daddy if he wants to. I can converse in Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Multani, Siraike and a little English too.
You could get my phone number from my business website.
Aa jawo bhai

Saskatchewn main punjabi community hai
Hello, Keepa. When you say Punjabi community - tell me one place where you will not find Punjabi people?
Second, as many do, if you are referring to Sikh community, we have two and a half gurudwaras in a mid-size city of Saskatoon. There is a moderate community size of Punjabi people those who are not followers of Sikhism. On the flip side, there is a very large presence of Sikh community in our city.
WoW....!!!
Kazi M Rahman ji, Shukriya.
Saskatoon may Muslim community hay
Yes! And it has a big presence. Ahmedia community is making our city as their head office.
Ahmedis are not Muslim

Hello Mr Sudhir
Baccha ji, a sad news. Your favorite character in our videos, my bua ji, Mrs. Rajni Chawla passed away a month after these videos were shot.
She died peacefully surrounded by her family due to a sudden illness in the City of Meerut near Delhi in India.
You are right, bua ji stole the show in the videos and in real life equally.
Thank you for your comments.
Sudhir Suryavanshi ji, we are very saddened to hear of your loss. We would like to express our sincere condolences to you and your family.
Thank You for that. I will, for sure pass on your message to the family. Regards.
