- Total Conflict Resistance is a new modern army strategy game combining the hardcore and FPS elements of ARMA and the squad control, customization style, and world map of the Mount and Blade series. Too bad it's poorly optimized, liked the concept and gameplay, but it's lagging like hell on my 1050. ArmA 3 for example runs perfectly.
That's because you're using a 1050 in 2023. This isn't any fault of the game, this is the fault of your hardware. Arma 3 is also old as sin.
@@poet8708 this is totally not a matter of hardware when hard-to-optimize Unreal videogames run prefectly fine (with proper settings) on my PC. Insurgency Sandstorm, for example.
"Quality control" and "optimization" are just some lost ancient tech?
Ah well ArmA Reforger runs pretty good too. This is a fine tradition in ArmA series: every new game actually looks better and is better optimized.
You're comparing a game made in 2013 with one made in 2023.

TCR has an ArmA 3 graphics level (with mods regarding new models, ground in A3 doesn't look that appealing, but foliage, objects, etc. are pretty similar).
If you want ArmA Reforger (2022), it runs smooth on my PC considering the scale of maps in ArmA, amount of objects and amount of calculations.
