ONLY 2 MINUTES LONG! Fastest video on TH-cam on this topic, no junk opinions and the video isn't filmed at night with no light....straight to the point and I provide all the parts you need to buy! What more could you ask for!? :) :) :) In this video I swap out the Heater AC Climate control lights on my 4th Gen 2008 Toyota 4Runner. One bulb burned out and this is super annoying because you can't see the time or temperature while driving. This fix should work for any 4Runner that was built from 2003-2009.

Sorry if you already said this but what bulbs are these? Also, Do you know why my clock isn’t keeping accurate time? Have an 05 4runner
Toyota replaced the dash on my 2004 4Runner because of a recall and ever since I can't reset the maintenance light,the tire pressure light, and my blinkers work on the vehicle but doesn't light up on the dash. Is there something they didn't plug back in ?
Take it back to whoever worked on it, they definitely messed something up

Where is the bulb that BACKLIGHTS the instrument panel? I've replaced all the bulbs but the words only light up if I push the control. They are not illuminated at night so I can see them.
They are on the back side of the knobs, there are videos on that topic as well.
@@Jasonoid please direct me to a video because people just replace the screw bulbs and don’t address the panel backlighting.
@@elfinmajictime you mean the gauge cluster? Like speedo and rpms?
@@Jasonoid No. the bulbs control the arrows. A backlight controls the words on the climate control
@@elfinmajictime my video shows how to swap the display bulbs. There are hundreds of forums you can read if you want to see another example. There are like 6 bulbs, 2 for the display and 4 for the knobs
What’s the part number for the bulbs
So what part number do you want? The DH part?
@@Jasonoid Could you please give the part number for the dash bulbs (or bulb kit). The part you linked to on Amazon is no longer available. And the part number/description given there is for a 2005-2011 Tacoma. But I have a 2007 4Runner and don't know if those parts are interchangeable for those years. And thanks for the excellent video, by the way.
@@wgmusic4200 the part number is the same for both vehicles. They are interchangeable
@@Jasonoid The parts may be interchangeable, I wouldn't be able to hazard a guess on that. But the numbers appear to be different. The part you linked on Amazon is Toyota OEM Part 84999-10090 (for 05-11 Tacoma). But it looks like the proper part for the 4Runner is Toyota OEM Part 90010-09017 (for 03-09 4Runner Control Knob Clock Dash Display Bulb). I went with the part # the for the 4Runner. Hopefully that works out for me. Thanks again for the video. It is very helpful.
